Setup
- Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
- Wash the inner pot, glass lid, measuring cup, and serving spoon with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Place the rice cooker on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Insert the clean, dry inner pot into the rice cooker housing. Ensure it sits properly.
- Cover with the glass lid.

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for perfectly cooked rice:
- Measure the desired amount of uncooked rice using the provided measuring cup. One measuring cup (6 oz) of uncooked rice typically yields two cups of cooked rice.
- Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice into the removable inner pot.
- Add the appropriate amount of water according to the Rice Cooking Chart below. For 1.5 cups of uncooked rice, add 2.5 cups of water.
- Place the inner pot back into the rice cooker housing.
- Close the tempered glass lid securely.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet. The orange indicator light (WARM) will illuminate.
- Press down the COOK switch. The red indicator light (COOK) will illuminate, indicating that cooking has begun.
- Once the rice is cooked, the unit will automatically switch to the WARM mode, and the orange indicator light will come on.
- Allow the rice to steam for at least 15 minutes after the switch pops up to further enhance texture. Do not open the lid during this time.
- After steaming, remove the lid and fluff the rice with the serving spoon before serving.
