4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel Controls

5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Speaker Connection

Follow these steps to connect your passive speakers to the amplifier:

  1. Before connecting, identify the positive and negative terminals of your speakers. The positive terminal is typically red, and the negative terminal is black.
  2. Press the clasp on the back of the AK45Pro amplifier's speaker output terminals and insert the bare speaker wires. Ensure positive speaker wires connect to positive terminals and negative speaker wires connect to negative terminals. Release the clasp to secure the wires.
  3. Caution: Avoid plugging or unplugging USB drives, SD cards, RCA audio cables, or speaker cables while the amplifier is powered on to prevent damage.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided AC power cable to the AC 240V Power Input on the back panel of the amplifier.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power cable into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Alternatively, for DC power, connect a compatible 12V/5A DC power adapter (not included) to the DC 12V/5A Power Input.

5.3 Audio Input Connections

  • RCA Input: Connect your audio source (e.g., CD player, DVD player, TV) to the Audio Input Jack (RCA) on the back panel using RCA cables.
  • USB/SD Input: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective port on the front panel. The amplifier will automatically switch to USB/SD mode or you can select it using the Mode button.
  • FM Antenna: Connect the FM antenna to the FM Antenna Jack on the back panel for improved radio reception.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Flip the Power Switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position to power on the amplifier. The LED display will illuminate. Flip it to 'OFF' to power down.

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the Mode Button on the front panel or the remote control to cycle through available input sources: Bluetooth, USB, SD, FM, and RCA.

6.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode using the Mode button. The LED display will show "BLUE" and flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "AK45Pro" from the list of devices. Once connected, the "BLUE" indicator on the amplifier's display will stop flashing.

6.4 USB/SD Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or SD card containing audio files into the corresponding port. The amplifier will automatically detect the media and begin playback. Use the Previous, Play/Pause, and Next buttons to control playback.

6.5 FM Radio Operation

Switch the amplifier to FM mode. Use the Previous and Next buttons to scan for radio stations. The LED display will show the current frequency.

6.6 Microphone Usage

Connect up to two microphones to the MIC1 and MIC2 input jacks on the front panel. Adjust the microphone volume using the Mic Volume Knob.

  • Master Volume: Rotate the large Master Volume Knob to increase or decrease the overall sound output.
  • Treble: Use the Treble Knob to adjust the high-frequency response of the audio.

6.8 Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to manage power, mode selection, volume, track skipping, and other functions from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries and is pointed towards the amplifier's front panel.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the amplifier has adequate ventilation. Do not block the ventilation openings on the top or sides of the unit.
