1. Introduction

It features adjustable LED ambient lighting and can be conveniently controlled via a remote. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure safe and efficient use.

2. Safety Instructions

• Ensure the fireplace is connected to a grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage.
• Do not place the fireplace near flammable materials, curtains, or furniture. Maintain adequate clearance around the unit.
• Do not cover the air vents of the fireplace, as this can lead to overheating.
• This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if it gets too hot.
• The fireplace also features a window open detection function, which may temporarily pause heating if a sudden drop in room temperature is detected.

4. Assembly and Setup

The KAMINIO MATTI Electric Fireplace is designed for straightforward assembly. It arrives in two packages: one containing the wooden mantel components and hardware, and the other containing the electric fireplace insert, power cable, and LED strip.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Wooden Mantel: Follow the detailed diagrams in the included assembly guide to construct the wooden mantel. Use a manual screwdriver for the wooden parts to avoid overtightening and damaging the engineered wood.
3. Install Fireplace Insert: Once the mantel is assembled, carefully slide the electric fireplace insert into the designated opening. Secure it using the provided screws. An electric screwdriver may be helpful for these screws, as the pilot holes can be small.
4. Attach LED Strip: Position and attach the LED ambient light strip as indicated in the assembly guide, typically along the top interior edge of the mantel.
5. Placement: Place the assembled fireplace on a stable, level surface in your desired location, ensuring it is near a suitable electrical outlet and away from obstructions.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the fireplace and then into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation (Plug & Play).

5. Operating Instructions

The KAMINIO MATTI Electric Fireplace can be operated using the control panel located on the unit or the included remote control.

• 3D Flame Effect: The fireplace features a realistic 3D flame effect. Use the 'DIMMER' button on the remote to cycle through 5 brightness levels for the flame.
• Heating Function: Activate the heating function using the remote. You can select between 1000W and 2000W heating levels. The thermostat allows you to set a desired room temperature between 15°C and 30°C. The heating system operates quietly.
• LED Ambient Light: The fireplace includes an LED ambient light strip with 13 selectable colors. Use the 'BACKLIGHT' button on the remote to change colors or turn the ambient light on/off.
• Timer Function: Set a timer for automatic shutdown using the 'TIMER SET' button on the remote. This allows you to program the fireplace to turn off after a set period.
• Date & Time: Adjust the date and time settings using the 'DATE TIME' button on the remote for scheduling functions.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the fireplace is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
• Air Vents: Regularly check and clean the air intake and outlet vents to ensure they are free from dust and debris, which can impede airflow and affect heating efficiency.
• Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, unplug it and cover it to protect it from dust.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your KAMINIO MATTI Electric Fireplace, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Power: Check if the power cable is securely plugged into both the fireplace and the wall outlet. Ensure the wall outlet is functional by testing it with another appliance. Check the main power switch on the unit.
• No Heat: Verify that the heating function is activated and the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature. Check if the air vents are obstructed. The overheating protection or window open detection might have activated; try resetting the unit by unplugging it for a few minutes.
• No Flame Effect: Ensure the flame effect is turned on. Adjust the brightness settings using the remote control.
• Remote Control Not Working: Check and replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace's sensor.
