Touchscreen Operation
The integrated 10.1-inch touchscreen provides an extended display for your computer. It supports touch input, allowing for direct interaction with displayed content. The screen can be used for various applications, including monitoring system stats, displaying widgets, or extending your desktop.
Knob Functions
The metal knob located on the top right of the keyboard offers versatile control:
- Turn Left: Decrease volume.
- Turn Right: Increase volume.

A dedicated switch next to the knob allows you to toggle between Mac and Windows operating system modes. Ensure the switch is set to the correct operating system for optimal key mapping and functionality.
Display Modes (Mirror, Extended, Share)
The AKP846's secondary screen can function in several modes when connected to your computer:
- Mirror Mode: Duplicates your main screen content, useful for presentations or collaborative work.
- Extended Mode: Extends your desktop, providing additional screen real estate for multitasking (e.g., notes on one screen, video on the other).
- Share Mode: Allows easy dragging and dropping of files between the two screens.

- For the touchscreen, use a screen-specific cleaner and a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Switch Replacement (Hot-Swap)
The AKP846 features hot-swappable switches, allowing you to easily replace individual switches without soldering. Use the included keycap puller and switch puller (if provided, or a standard one) to carefully remove keycaps and switches. Ensure replacement switches are compatible (3-pin or 5-pin).
