Setup
Setting the TSA Combination Lock:
Your Spyder Rails suitcase is equipped with a TSA-approved combination lock. The initial combination is set to 0-0-0. To set your personal combination:
- Ensure the lock is set to the factory default combination (0-0-0).
- Locate the small reset button (usually a small hole) on the side or bottom of the lock. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button until you hear a click.
- While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
- Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
- Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your set combination to open the lock.
Important: Remember your combination. There is no master key for personal combinations, and the manufacturer cannot assist in resetting it if forgotten.
Operating Instructions
Using the Telescopic Handle:
To extend the handle, press the button located on the top of the handle grip and pull upwards. The handle will lock into multiple positions. To retract, press the button again and push the handle downwards until it is fully nested.
Utilizing 360-Degree Spinner Wheels:
The Shark Wheels are designed for multi-directional movement. To move your suitcase, simply push or pull it in any direction. For optimal maneuverability, keep the suitcase upright and allow the wheels to pivot freely.
Expanding Your Suitcase:
To access the additional packing capacity, locate the secondary zipper running along the perimeter of the suitcase. Unzip this section to expand the suitcase by approximately 2.5 inches.
Packing and Organization:
Utilize the internal compression straps to secure your clothing and prevent shifting during transit. Place smaller items in the zippered mesh pockets for easy access and organization.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Hardside Shell:
Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
Wheel and Zipper Care:
