8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Kinhank Wireless Android Auto NFC Adapter, consider the following:

  • Connection Failure:
    • Ensure your car's wired Android Auto system is functional.
    • Verify that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your smartphone.
    • Check that your phone's Wi-Fi is not connected to another network or device.
    • For NFC pairing, ensure your phone's NFC is active and correctly positioned over the adapter's NFC area.
    • Try restarting both your phone and the car's infotainment system.
  • Intermittent Connection/Lag:
    • Ensure the adapter is securely plugged into the USB port.
    • Avoid placing objects that might interfere with wireless signals near the adapter or your phone.
    • Update your phone's Android Auto application to the latest version.
  • Notifications Not Displaying:
    • Check your phone's Android Auto settings to ensure notifications are enabled and permissions are granted.
  • NFC Disconnection During Turns:
    • The NFC function is primarily for initial quick pairing. Once connected via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the NFC tag is not continuously active for maintaining the connection. If your phone is physically moving and causing issues, ensure a stable connection is established via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which are responsible for the ongoing wireless Android Auto link.

9. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your adapter:

  • Keep the adapter clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the adapter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the adapter yourself.
  • Ensure the USB cable is not bent or strained excessively.

10. Warranty and Support

The Kinhank Wireless Android Auto NFC Adapter comes with a lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term reliability. For any issues or support inquiries, please contact Kinhank customer service through your purchase platform. We aim to respond and resolve issues within 12 hours.
