2. Safety Information

  • 3.2-inch LED Display: Shows remaining battery capacity, charging status, and operational information.
  • PD60W Type-C Port (IN/OUT): Supports two-way quick charging, allowing the unit to be recharged quickly (0% to 80% in approximately 1 hour) and to charge compatible devices.
  • USB-A Output: For charging smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.
  • DC Output: Provides 12-16.8V/10A for compatible devices.
  • EC-5 Output: Connection point for the smart battery clamps.
  • Integrated LED Flashlight: Offers three modes: constant light, SOS signal, and strobe.

5. Setup and Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the NEXPOW Q11 Jump Starter.

  1. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to the PD60W Type-C port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB-C wall adapter (not included) or a power source.
  3. The LED display will show the charging status and battery percentage. Charge until the display indicates 100%.
  4. A full charge typically takes about 1 hour using a 60W PD charger.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Connect Clamps: Insert the blue plug of the smart battery clamps into the EC-5 output port on the jump starter. Ensure a firm connection.
  2. Attach to Battery: Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal. Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Check Indicator: The indicator light on the smart clamps will show the connection status. A solid green light indicates a correct and safe connection. If it flashes or shows red, check connections and battery status.
  4. Start Vehicle: Once the green light is solid, start your vehicle's engine.
  5. Remove Clamps: After the engine starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery, then disconnect the clamps from the jump starter.

6.2. Charging Electronic Devices

Use the USB-A or Type-C ports to charge your portable electronics.

  • Connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB-A or Type-C output port on the jump starter.
  • The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device. The LED display will show the remaining battery capacity.

6.3. Using the LED Flashlight

The integrated LED flashlight has three modes for various situations.

  • Press and hold the Power/Flashlight button for 3 seconds to turn on the constant light mode.
  • Press the button again to cycle through the modes: SOS signalStrobe light.
  • Press and hold the button again to turn off the flashlight.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your jump starter.

  • Recharge Regularly: For optimal battery life, recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not used.
