5. Installation Guide
The following steps outline the installation process. Ensure you have a mounting pole with a diameter of 48-54 mm (not included) and all necessary tools.
- Inventory Parts: Verify all parts of the wind turbine, including the 6 brackets and 3 blades.
- Position Turbine: Place the wind turbine vertically. Exercise caution to avoid crushing the output wire with the bottom flange. Note that the upper cover plate of the wind turbine does not need to be tightened yet. The blades can be adjusted upwards or downwards during installation.
- Connect Brackets to Blades: Connect each bracket to a blade using bolts. Preload the upper cover plate and lower cover plate.
- Fix Bolts in Mounting Holes: Secure the bolts in the mounting holes at the end of the wind blade from the outside. Preload them.
- Tighten All Bolts: Tighten all bolts of the blades and brackets. Toggle the blades to ensure no abnormal noise or jamming. Adjust the adjusting nut (under the upper cover plate of the wind turbine) to make the upper cover plate fixed.
- Align Flange Hole: Align the flange hole of the wind generator with the flange hole on the tower pole. Place flat washers and spring washers, then tighten the nut.

5.1 Wiring the MPPT Controller
The MPPT controller is essential for managing the power output from the wind turbine to your battery bank and inverter. Refer to the diagram below for proper connection.
- Connect the wind turbine output wires to the designated wind turbine input terminals on the MPPT controller.
- Connect the battery bank to the battery terminals on the MPPT controller. Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect your inverter (if used) to the load terminals on the MPPT controller.
- If integrating with solar panels, connect them to the solar input terminals on the MPPT controller.

6. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and wired, the Fablestoryem Vertical Wind Turbine operates automatically.
- Automatic Start-up: The turbine will begin to rotate and generate power when wind speeds reach 2 m/s.
- MPPT Control: The integrated MPPT controller will optimize power output and regulate charging to your battery bank, preventing overcharging.
- Overload Protection: The system includes electromagnetic braking and an unloading device for overload protection, ensuring safe operation during high winds (up to 40 m/s).
- Monitoring: Periodically check the MPPT controller display (if available) for system status, voltage, and current readings.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your wind turbine.
- Visual Inspection (Monthly): Check blades for any cracks, damage, or debris accumulation. Inspect all visible wiring for wear or loose connections.
- Tightness Check (Every 6 Months): Verify that all bolts and fasteners, especially those connecting the blades and the main shaft, are securely tightened.
- Cleaning: Clean the blades and main body of the turbine as needed to remove dirt, dust, or salt buildup (in marine environments). Use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
- Controller Check: Ensure the MPPT controller is free from dust and moisture. Check for any error indicators.
- Battery Inspection: If using a battery bank, regularly inspect battery terminals for corrosion and ensure proper electrolyte levels (for flooded batteries).
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your wind turbine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
