Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RisoPhy keyboard, please refer to the following common solutions:
Keyboard Not Responding / Keys Not Working
- Check Connection:
- For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port.
- For 2.4GHz wireless, ensure the USB dongle is properly inserted and the keyboard is switched to 2.4GHz mode. Try re-pairing by unplugging and re-plugging the dongle.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is paired and selected. Try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard.
- Battery Level: Ensure the keyboard has sufficient charge. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable.
- Restart Device: Sometimes, a simple restart of your computer or device can resolve connectivity issues.
- Switch Issues: If a specific key is not working, it might be a switch issue. Due to the hot-swappable design, you can try removing and re-inserting the switch for that key. If the problem persists, consider replacing the switch.
RGB Lighting Not Functioning Correctly
- Check Brightness: Ensure the brightness level is not set to minimum.
- Cycle Modes: Try cycling through different RGB lighting modes using the keyboard's dedicated key combinations.
- Software: If applicable, check the keyboard's software settings for lighting control.
Input Lag in Wireless Mode
- Interference: Move the keyboard closer to your device or USB dongle to minimize potential wireless interference.
- Battery: Low battery can sometimes affect wireless performance. Ensure the keyboard is charged.
- Switch to Wired: For critical tasks like competitive gaming, consider using the wired connection for the most stable and lowest latency experience.
