ZEALFEEL Baseball Rebounder Net Instruction Manual

Model: BN-HP-R4x5A-S

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ZEALFEEL Baseball Rebounder Net. This 4x4.5 ft rebounder net features 3 adjustable angles and 2 strike zones, designed for training in baseball, softball, and volleyball. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper setup and safe operation.

2. Safety Information

  • Always ensure the rebounder net is assembled correctly and all connections are secure before use.
  • Use the provided U-shaped stakes to anchor the net firmly to the ground, especially during outdoor use or in windy conditions.
  • Maintain a safe distance from the net during use to avoid injury from rebounding balls.
  • Supervise children during use.
  • Inspect the net and frame for any damage before each use. Do not use if components are broken or worn.
  • Do not climb on or hang from the rebounder net.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is designed to be straightforward with numbered metal frames. Follow these steps:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify all components listed in Section 3 are present.
  2. Assemble the Main Frame: Connect the numbered metal frame pieces according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly sheet (not included in this manual but typically provided with the product). Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Attach the Rebounding Net: Secure the PE rebounding net to the assembled frame using the provided bungee cords. Thread the bungee cords through the net grommets and around the frame, ensuring even tension across the entire net surface. The net should be taut but not overstretched.
  4. Install the Built-in Square Target: The square target is integrated into the main net. Ensure it is properly positioned.
  5. Attach the 9-Grid Target (Optional): If desired, attach the 9-grid target over the main net using its corner loops. This target is used for precision pitching practice.
  6. Secure with Stakes: For outdoor use, insert the 4 U-shaped metal stakes through the designated holes in the base of the frame and firmly into the ground. This provides stability and prevents movement during use.

5. Operating Instructions

The ZEALFEEL Rebounder Net is designed for versatile training with adjustable angles and strike zones.

5.1 Adjusting Angles

The net offers 3 adjustable angles to simulate different ball returns for fielding practice:

  • Low Angle: Ideal for practicing ground balls. The ball will return at a low trajectory.
  • Medium Angle: Suitable for training with line drives. The ball will return at a mid-level trajectory.
  • High Angle: Perfect for catching fly balls or pop-ups. The ball will return with a high arc.

To adjust the angle, locate the adjustment mechanism on the side supports of the frame. Secure the frame at the desired angle using the provided secure pin. Ensure the pin is fully engaged before use.

5.2 Using Strike Zones

The rebounder net includes two targets to enhance pitching accuracy:

  • Built-in Square Target: This target is integrated into the net for general pitching accuracy practice.
  • 9-Grid Target: The removable 9-grid target allows for more precise pitch placement drills. Attach it over the main net for focused training.

5.3 General Usage

Position the rebounder net on a flat, stable surface. For optimal performance, stand at an appropriate distance from the net, typically 10-20 feet, depending on the desired intensity of practice. Throw or hit balls towards the net, aiming for the desired return trajectory or target zone.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your rebounder net.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. The PE netting can be rinsed with water and air-dried. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the materials.
  • Inspection: Regularly check the net for any tears or fraying. Inspect the bungee cords for elasticity and wear. Examine the steel frame for any signs of rust or structural damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially during adverse weather conditions, it is recommended to store the rebounder net indoors. The net features a foldable design for easy transport and storage. Simply remove the legs to fold the frame flat.
