3. Setup and Installation

The wind turbine is designed for easy assembly. An English assembly instruction manual is included in the packaging. Follow these steps carefully for proper installation.

3.1 Unpacking and Parts Inventory

Upon receiving your kit, carefully unpack all components and verify against the packing list. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

3.2 Mounting Bar Requirements

This generator kit does not include a mounting rod. A suitable mounting bar with a diameter of 48-54mm (1.89-2.13 inches) is required for installation.

3.3 Assembly Steps

  1. Inventory all parts of the wind turbine. The kit includes 6 support brackets and 3 fan blades in total.
  2. Place the wind turbine vertically. Exercise caution to avoid crushing the output wire from the bottom flange. Note that the upper cover plate of the wind turbine does not need to be tightened yet. The blades should be properly adjusted upward or downward during installation.
  3. Connect the support brackets with the blades using bolts. Preload the upper cover plate and lower cover plate.
  4. Fix the bolts in the mounting holes at the end of the blade brackets from the outside of the wind blade. Preload them.
  5. Tighten all bolts of the blades and brackets. Toggle the blades to ensure no abnormal noise or jamming. Tighten the adjusting nut (which fixes the upper cover plate of the wind turbine) to secure the upper cover plate.
  6. Align the flange hole of the wind generator with the flange hole on the tower pole. Put on flat washers and spring washers, then tighten the nut.

3.4 Wiring the MPPT Controller
