This manual provides detailed instructions for the HOMVILLA HM335 Indoor Thermometer Hygrometer. This device is designed to accurately measure and display indoor temperature and humidity, offering a comfort indicator and recording maximum and minimum values. 2. Safety Information

The HOMVILLA HM335 features a large LCD display for easy readability, two control buttons, and multiple mounting options. It provides real-time temperature and humidity, along with MAX/MIN records and a comfort level indicator.

3.1 Components
- LCD Display: Shows current temperature, humidity, MAX/MIN records, and comfort level.
- °C/°F Button: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
- CLEAR Button: Resets MAX/MIN temperature and humidity records.
- Battery Compartment: Located on the back for battery installation.
- Mounting Options: Includes a hanging hole, durable stand, and strong magnet.
4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert one AA battery (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The device requires 1 AA battery. Ensure the battery is inserted correctly to power on the device.
4.2 Placement Options
The HOMVILLA HM335 offers versatile placement options to suit various environments:
- Tabletop: Use the integrated durable stand to place the device on any flat surface, such as a desk, shelf, or nightstand.
- Wall-Mounted: Utilize the hanging hole on the back to mount the device on a wall using a nail or screw.
- Magnetic Attachment: The strong magnet on the back allows for attachment to metallic surfaces like refrigerators or magnetic boards.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Power On
Once the battery is installed, the device will automatically power on and begin displaying current temperature and humidity readings. The display refreshes every 10 seconds to provide up-to-date information.

5.2 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
Press the °C/°F button located on the front of the device to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.
5.3 MAX/MIN Record Function
The device continuously tracks and displays the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity values recorded over a 24-hour period since the last reset. These values are shown below the current readings on the LCD.

5.4 Clearing MAX/MIN Records
To reset the MAX/MIN records, press the CLEAR button on the front of the device. The recorded maximum and minimum values will reset to the current temperature and humidity readings.
5.5 Comfort Indicator
The device features a comfort indicator, displayed as a smiley icon, to quickly assess the indoor environment:
- Dry: Humidity less than 40% (indicated by a sad face).
- Comfort: Humidity between 40% and 70% (indicated by a smiling face).
- Wet: Humidity over 70% (indicated by a frowning face).

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean the device, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the device stops functioning, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. Ensure to use a fresh AA battery.
