1. Introduction

The Casio CDP-S1A Digital Piano Bundle offers a portable, full-size 88-key digital piano with an authentic piano touch and exceptional value. 2. Setup

This bundle includes the CDP-S1A Digital Piano, a matching wooden stand, a height-adjustable padded folding artist bench, a sustain pedal (SP3), a device-ready music rest, and a power supply. The piano can also be optionally powered by 6xAA batteries.

2.1 Assembling the Stand and Bench

Follow the instructions provided with the wooden stand and artist bench for proper assembly. Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened for stability.

2.2 Connecting Power and Pedal

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V input jack located on the rear panel of the piano. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Connect the SP3 Sustain Pedal to the SUSTAIN pedal jack on the rear panel.

2.3 Attaching the Music Rest

Insert the device-ready music rest into the slots provided on the top panel of the digital piano.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button located on the left side of the top panel to turn the piano on or off.

3.2 Adjusting Volume

Use the MASTER VOLUME slider to adjust the overall sound level of the piano.

3.3 Selecting Tones

The CDP-S1A features 10 built-in tones. To select a tone:

  1. Press the GRAND PIANO button to quickly select the default grand piano tone.
  2. To access other tones, hold down the FUNCTION button and press the corresponding key on the keyboard as indicated in the manual (e.g., E.PIANO, ORGAN, STRINGS).

3.4 Using the Metronome

The built-in metronome is useful for practicing rhythm and timing. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for activating and adjusting metronome settings (tempo, beat, volume).
