4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
The Inkerma Hunter-E1000 is equipped with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Before first use, or when the battery indicator shows low power, charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Locate the USB Type-C charging port on the device.
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the rangefinder and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Switching
- Power On: Press the Power/Measure button briefly.

5.2 Unit Switching (Meters/Yards)

5.6 Height and Horizontal Distance Measurement Mode
This mode is useful for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to determine vertical height and horizontal distance to a target, especially on uneven terrain.
- Select the appropriate mode using the Mode/Unit Change button.
- Aim at the base of the target and press the Power/Measure button.
- Then aim at the top of the target and press the Power/Measure button again. The device will calculate and display the height and horizontal distance using advanced Angle Compensation (ARC) technology.
