3. Assembly and Setup
This appliance requires some assembly. Follow the instructions provided in the packaging for detailed assembly steps. Ensure all components are securely fastened before proceeding.
3.1 Connecting the Propane Tank
- Ensure all control knobs on the grill are in the 'OFF' position.
- Connect the gas regulator hose to the propane gas tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly.
- Perform a leak test before first use and after every tank change. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, turn off the gas supply immediately and tighten connections. If leaks persist, do not use the appliance and contact customer support.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Ignition Instructions
Follow these steps to ignite the burners safely:
- Remove any covers from the cooking surfaces.
- Turn all control knobs clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
- Connect the regulator to the gas tank. Open the gas supply at the tank valve.
- Push in the control knob for the desired burner and turn it counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' position. While holding the knob in, press the igniter button rapidly.
- If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and then repeat step 4.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for other burners as needed.

4.2 Cooking Modes and Heat Control
The grill features three distinct cooking areas: a grill grate, a griddle plate, and a side burner. Each area is controlled by its own knob, allowing for precise temperature management. The total power output of 8.5 kW, combined with flame tamers and enamelled porcelain surfaces, ensures even heat distribution across the cooking areas.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and safe operation of your Royal Gourmet grill.
- Grease Trays: The grill features removable grease trays on each side to collect excess fat and residue. Empty and clean these trays after each cooking session.
- Cooking Surfaces: After the grill has cooled, clean the grill grates and griddle plate with a grill brush or scraper. For stubborn residue, use warm soapy water.
- Exterior: Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Storage: Store the grill in a dry, protected area when not in use. Disconnect the propane tank and store it separately according to local regulations.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your grill, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Burner Not Lighting:
- Check if the propane tank is open and has sufficient gas.
- Ensure the regulator is properly connected to the tank.
- Verify that the control knob is pushed in and turned to 'HIGH' while pressing the igniter.
- Check for blockages in the burner ports.
- Uneven Heating:
- Ensure the grill is level.
- Clean the burner tubes and flame tamers to remove any debris.
- Low Flame:
- Check for low gas in the propane tank.
- Ensure the regulator is not in bypass mode (often caused by opening the tank valve too quickly). Close the tank valve, disconnect and reconnect the regulator, then open the tank valve slowly.
