  • Microphones: Connect XLR cables from your microphones to the MIC inputs (XLR jacks) on the desired channels.
  • Line-Level Instruments: Connect 1/4" TRS cables from instruments like keyboards, guitars (with a DI box), or other audio devices to the LINE inputs (1/4" jacks) on the desired channels.

3. Output Connections

Operating Instructions

1. Channel Level Adjustment

  • GAIN Knob: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set it so the 'PEAK' LED occasionally flashes, but does not stay lit, to avoid distortion.
  • Volume Fader: Controls the output level of each channel to the main mix.

2. Equalization (EQ)

Each channel features a 3-band EQ:

  • HF (High Frequency): Adjusts treble (10kHz).
  • MF (Mid Frequency): Adjusts midrange (2.5kHz).
  • LF (Low Frequency): Adjusts bass (100Hz).

Use these knobs to shape the tone of each input source. A neutral setting is typically at the 12 o'clock position.

3. Auxiliary and Effects Send

  • AUX Knob: Controls the level of the channel's signal sent to the auxiliary output.
  • FX Knob: Controls the level of the channel's signal sent to the internal effects processor.

4. Pan Control

The 'PAN' knob adjusts the stereo position of the channel's signal, allowing you to place it anywhere between the left and right main outputs.

5. PFL (Pre-Fader Listen)

Pressing the 'PFL' button on a channel allows you to monitor that specific channel's signal through headphones, independent of its main fader position. This is useful for checking input levels before sending them to the main mix.

6. Master Section Controls

  • Main Fader: Controls the overall output volume of the main mix.
  • Effects Controls (FX, DLY, REF): Adjust the parameters of the built-in digital effects. FX delivers dynamic audio transformations, DLY manipulates echoic attributes, and REF adds spatial nuances.
  • MP3 Player Controls: Use the dedicated buttons for playback, track selection, and mode switching for USB and Bluetooth audio.
  • Monitor Volume: Adjusts the volume for the Control Room outputs and Headphone output.

7. USB Recording

To record to a computer or external USB device:

  • Ensure your USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32.
  • Connect the mixer to your computer using a suitable USB cable (not included).
  • Use recording software on your computer to capture the audio output from the mixer.
  • For optimal recording quality and to minimize noise, a noise filter cable may be required (not included).

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your mixer.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the mixer. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.
  • Dust Protection: Keep the mixer covered when not in use to prevent dust accumulation, especially on faders and knobs.
  • Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Cable Management: Ensure all cables are neatly organized and not under tension to prevent damage to connectors and ports.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No sound output
  • Power not connected or turned on.
  • Main fader or channel faders are down.
  • Incorrect input/output connections.
  • Speakers/amplifier not powered on or connected.
  • Check power supply and switch.
