Maintenance

1. Filter Cleaning

The washable, reusable air-conditioner-grade filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality) to maintain optimal dehumidification efficiency and prevent dust buildup. To clean:

  1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Rinse the filter under running water (warm, not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

3. Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, follow these steps:

  1. Empty the water tank and clean it.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Ensure the entire unit is dry before storage.
  4. Wrap the power cord neatly using the integrated cable wrap post to prevent tangles and damage.
  5. Store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
