4. Setup
4.1. Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted.
- Apply the electrostatic adhesive sheet to the cleaned area.
- Attach the dash cam mount to the electrostatic adhesive sheet. Ensure the mount is securely fixed and the camera has a clear view of the road and interior. The magnetic mount allows for easy attachment and removal of the main unit.
- Adjust the camera angle as needed. The mount allows for 30-degree angle adjustment.

4.2. MicroSD Card Insertion and Formatting
- Insert a high-quality microSD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 1TB recommended) into the designated slot on the dash cam.
- For first-time use, it is essential to format the microSD card directly on the dash cam. Navigate to the settings menu on the device or via the app to find the format option.
4.3. Power Connection
Connect the provided car charger to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and the dash cam's power input. Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your view or interfering with driving controls. For 24-hour parking surveillance, an optional hardwire kit (ASIN: B094882TJC) is required to connect directly to the car battery.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Recording
Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin loop recording. Video files are saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) and the oldest files are overwritten when the microSD card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.2. Night Vision and HDR

5.3. 24-Hour Parking Surveillance
To activate parking surveillance, the dash cam must be continuously powered, ideally through an optional hardwire kit (ASIN: B094882TJC). The N2X offers four modes:
- Motion Detection: Automatically starts recording when motion is detected around the vehicle. Includes a 15-second pre-record function.
- Impact Detection (G-Sensor): If an impact or sudden vibration is detected, the device automatically powers on and records, saving the footage to a protected folder.
- Time-Lapse Recording: Records continuously at a low frame rate (e.g., 5fps or 10fps) to save storage space while covering long periods.
- Low Bitrate Recording: Records at a lower quality and frame rate (e.g., 720P@15fps) to maximize recording duration on the microSD card.
