2.1. Unboxing
Your Orient Bambino watch comes securely packaged in a protective box. Carefully open the packaging to retrieve your watch and any accompanying documentation.

2.2. Winding the Watch
Your watch is equipped with an automatic movement (Orient F6B22) that winds itself through the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or has not been worn for an extended period, it may require manual winding to initiate operation.
- Ensure the crown is in the normal operating position (position 0, pushed in completely).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will provide enough power reserve to start the watch.
- The second hand should begin to move.
Note: Continuous wear for 8-10 hours daily will typically keep the watch sufficiently wound.
2.3. Setting Time and Date
The crown has multiple positions for setting the time and date functions.
- Position 0 (Normal Position): Crown pushed in completely. Used for manual winding.
- Position 1 (First Click): Crown pulled out one click. Used for setting the date and day of the week.
- Position 2 (Second Click): Crown pulled out two clicks. Used for setting the time.
Setting the Date and Day of the Week:
- Pull the crown out to Position 1.
- Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
- Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
- Push the crown back to Position 0 when finished.
Caution: Avoid setting the date or day between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can damage the movement. If you need to adjust the date during this period, first set the time outside this window, adjust the date, then reset the time.
Setting the Time:
- Pull the crown out to Position 2. The second hand will stop (hacking feature).
- Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Advance the hands past 12 o'clock to determine if it is AM or PM for the date change mechanism.
- Once the desired time is set, push the crown back to Position 0. The second hand will resume movement.
2.4. Adjusting the Strap
The watch comes with a leather strap and a tang buckle. Adjust the strap to a comfortable fit on your wrist. It should be snug enough to prevent excessive movement but not so tight as to restrict circulation.
3. Operating Your Watch
3.1. Automatic Movement
The Orient F6B22 movement is an automatic mechanical caliber. It is powered by the natural motion of your arm. When worn regularly, the oscillating weight inside the watch rotates, winding the mainspring and storing energy. If the watch is not worn for approximately 40 hours (its power reserve), it will stop and require manual winding or wearing to restart.

3.2. Weekly Calendar Display
The watch features a weekly calendar display, indicating the day of the week. This complication is synchronized with the date and time settings. Ensure correct AM/PM setting during time adjustment for accurate day and date changes.
3.3. Water Resistance
Your Orient Bambino watch has a water resistance rating of 30 meters (3 ATM). This rating means the watch is resistant to splashes and brief immersion in water, such as rain or hand washing. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water jets.
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, which can compromise seals.

4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fingerprints.
- For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. Clean with a specialized leather cleaner if necessary, following product instructions.
- Do not use abrasive materials or strong detergents, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.
4.2. Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box is ideal for storage.
4.3. Service
Mechanical watches benefit from periodic servicing to ensure optimal performance and longevity. It is recommended to have your watch inspected and serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years. This typically involves cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of the movement.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Watch Not Running
- Check Power Reserve: If the watch has not been worn or manually wound recently, it may have run out of power. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 20-30 times (crown in Position 0).
- Crown Position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to Position 0. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
5.2. Time Inaccuracy
- Power Reserve: An insufficient power reserve can lead to inaccurate timekeeping. Ensure the watch is fully wound or worn consistently.
- Magnetic Fields: Exposure to strong magnetic fields (e.g., from speakers, refrigerators, or certain electronic devices) can magnetize the movement and affect accuracy. If you suspect magnetization, consult a professional watchmaker for demagnetization.
- Impact: A severe impact can affect the movement's regulation. If accuracy issues persist after checking power and magnetic exposure, professional inspection is recommended.
5.3. Date/Day Not Changing
- Time Setting: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. The date and day typically change around midnight. If the watch is set to PM when it should be AM, the date/day change will occur at noon instead of midnight.
- Setting Window: Avoid adjusting the date/day between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
