Setup

Battery Installation (AA Batteries)

1. Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the lantern.
2. Twist the battery compartment cover counter-clockwise to open.
3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the cover and twist clockwise to secure.

Initial Charging (Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery)

The lantern features a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that can be charged via solar power or USB.

• Solar Charging: Place the lantern in direct sunlight with the solar panel (located on top) facing upwards. The charging indicator light will illuminate when charging is in progress.
• USB Charging: Open the glow-in-the-dark USB cover. Connect the included USB charging cable to the lantern's USB port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The charging indicator light will illuminate.

The charging indicator light will change or turn off when charging is complete.

Collapsible Design

The lantern is designed to be collapsible for compact storage and transport. To expand, gently pull the top and bottom sections apart until fully extended. To collapse, push the top and bottom sections together until they meet.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off and Cycling Light Modes

The lantern features an easy-to-push switch to control power and light modes.

1. To Turn On: Press the power button once. The lantern will illuminate in the last used light mode.
2. To Cycle Modes: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the three available light modes: High, Low, and Night Light.
3. To Turn Off: Continue pressing the power button until the light turns off, or hold the button for a few seconds.

On the High setting, the lantern provides up to 500 lumens of bright, 360-degree area light when using the rechargeable battery.

Hanging Feature

For hands-free lighting, the lantern includes a hook on its bottom. Simply extend the lantern, locate the hook, and use it to hang the lantern from a tent, branch, or other suitable fixture.
