Setup and Installation

The litillbuly car stereo is designed for convenient installation without requiring complex wiring or dashboard modifications. Simply connect it to your vehicle's cigarette lighter for power.

Mounting Options

• Suction Cup Bracket: Attach the suction cup bracket to your dashboard or windshield. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
• Self-Adhesive Stand Bracket: Alternatively, use the self-adhesive bracket for a more permanent placement on your dashboard.

Choose the bracket that best suits your vehicle and preferred viewing angle.

Power Connection

1. Connect the provided car cigarette lighter charger to the unit's power input.
2. Plug the charger into your vehicle's 12-24V cigarette lighter socket. The unit is compatible with both cars and trucks.
3. The unit will power on automatically.

Operating Instructions

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

This function allows you to synchronize your smartphone's apps (phone book, mail, notifications, map navigation, music, video) to the 7-inch display. iPhones can also use Siri for voice control.

1. Turn on both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your mobile phone.
2. Connect your phone's Bluetooth to the monitor (device name: CarKit-AEDE or similar).
3. Once connected, select the corresponding CarPlay or Android Auto icon on the monitor to begin using.
4. To exit the program, turn off both your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Bluetooth 5.0 Hands-Free Calling

The built-in Bluetooth 5.0 system and clear microphone enable hands-free calling and voice control, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road.

• Ensure your phone is connected via Bluetooth as described above.
• Use the phone interface on the monitor to dial or answer calls.
• Voice commands (e.g., Siri) can be used for dialing.

FM Transmitter

To play audio through your car's speakers, use the FM Transmitter function.

1. On the monitor, select the "FM Transmitter" function.
2. Adjust the frequency on the monitor to match an unused FM radio channel on your car's stereo (e.g., 88.8 MHz).
3. Tune your car's FM radio to the same frequency. Audio from the litillbuly unit will now play through your car's speakers.
4. If you do not need to transmit sound to the car stereo, disable this function on the monitor.

TF/USB Multimedia Player and EQ Equalizer

The unit includes a TF card slot and USB input for multimedia playback. An integrated EQ equalizer offers various sound effects (pop, rock, classical, jazz, etc.).

• Insert a TF card or USB drive with your media files.
• Navigate to the media player section to select and play files.
• Access the EQ equalizer settings to adjust sound effects according to your preference. (Note: EQ audio is only available when playing music using Bluetooth or TF card.)

Mirror Link

The Mirror Link function allows you to display your phone's screen directly on the car stereo unit.

Troubleshooting

• CarPlay/Android Auto sometimes fails to work: Ensure both your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on. Wi-Fi is crucial for data transmission. If your phone's Wi-Fi connects elsewhere, it may disconnect the unit.
• No sound from player when FM Transmitter is active: This is normal. When the FM transmitter is activated, the player's internal speaker will be muted. Disable the FM transmitter function if you want sound from the player itself.
• Unit heats up during use: Since there is no built-in battery, it is normal for the unit to heat up slightly during operation. This will not affect product performance.
• Some Android phones cannot use Android Auto normally: Due to variations in mobile phone versions and brands, some Android phones may have compatibility issues. Contact your mobile phone brand operator before purchasing to confirm Android Auto functionality.
