1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the ALLIMITY infrared remote control, designed for use with various EKLYPS TV models. Please read this manual carefully before using the remote control to ensure proper operation and to maximize its lifespan.

2. Product Overview

The ALLIMITY remote control is an ergonomic, fully functional replacement or secondary remote for compatible EKLYPS TV models. It requires no programming or setup, offering direct usability.

Button Functions:

  • Power (⏻): Turns the TV on or off.
  • INPUT: Selects input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
  • Number Keys (0-9): Direct channel selection.
  • GUIDE: Displays the electronic program guide.
  • CH.LIST: Shows the channel list.
  • Colored Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Functionality varies by TV model and context (e.g., teletext, interactive services).
  • Playback Controls (▶▶, ◀◀, ▶▶): Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind for media playback.
  • Menu (☰): Accesses the TV's main menu.
  • Navigation (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Navigates through menus and confirms selections.
  • Back (↶): Returns to the previous screen or menu.
  • EXIT: Exits the current menu or application.
  • Home (⌂): Returns to the TV's home screen.
  • VOL (+/-): Adjusts the volume level.
  • Mute (🔇): Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.
  • CH (⌃ / ⌄): Changes channels up or down.
  • TEXT: Activates teletext.
  • SUBTITLE: Toggles subtitles on or off.
  • INFO: Displays information about the current program.
  • App Shortcut Buttons (NETFLIX, YouTube, plex, Disny, BROWSER, prm video, free, deezer): Direct access to streaming services and the web browser.

3. Setup

Battery Installation:

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

The remote control is now ready for use. No additional programming or pairing is required for compatible EKLYPS TV models.

4. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your EKLYPS TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

  • Basic Functions: Use the Power button to turn the TV on/off, Volume buttons to adjust sound, and Channel buttons to change channels.
  • Input Selection: Press the INPUT button to cycle through available input sources (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV).
  • Menu Navigation: Use the Menu button to access TV settings. Navigate using the directional arrow buttons and confirm selections with the OK button.
  • Smart TV Features: Utilize the dedicated app shortcut buttons (NETFLIX, YouTube, etc.) for quick access to these services, provided your TV is connected to the internet.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA).
  • Storage: If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
  • Avoid Damage: Do not drop the remote control, expose it to extreme temperatures, or immerse it in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
    • Replace old batteries with new ones.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
    • Make sure you are within the effective operating range (up to 10 meters).
  • Specific buttons not working:
    • Clean the remote control, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any dirt or debris.
    • If the issue persists after replacing batteries, the remote control may be faulty.
  • TV not responding to app shortcut buttons:
    • Ensure your EKLYPS TV is a Smart TV model and is connected to the internet.
    • Verify that the corresponding apps are installed and updated on your TV.
