5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show charging status.

5.2 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button on the top panel to turn the speaker On or Off.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for "Raymate R12" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
  4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.

5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To pair two Raymate R12 speakers for True Wireless Stereo sound:

  1. Ensure both speakers are turned on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the "Wireless/TWS" button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the secondary speaker.
  4. Once successfully paired, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Playing Audio

  • Bluetooth Mode: After successful pairing, play audio from your connected device.
  • TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback.
  • USB Port Mode: Insert a USB flash drive with audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
  • AUX Input Mode: Connect an external audio device using the provided AUX cable to the AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

6.2 Volume Control

Use the "Volume +" and "Volume -" buttons on the top panel to adjust the playback volume.

6.3 Light Modes

The speaker features a rhythmic lighting system. Press the "Light Switch" button to cycle through different lighting effects:

  • Single Light
  • Rainbow Light (color-changing lights automatically sync to music and flash in rhythm)
  • Gradient Light
  • Light Off

Choose from Single Light, Rainbow Light, Gradient Light, or turn the lights off to suit your preference.

6.4 EQ Modes

Press the "EQ" button to cycle through different equalizer presets for optimized sound based on music genre or personal preference.

6.5 Using as Power Bank

The 8000mAh battery allows the speaker to function as a power bank. Connect your mobile phone or other USB-powered device to the USB port on the rear panel to charge it.

6.6 Call Handling

When connected via Bluetooth, you can manage phone calls directly from the speaker:

  • Press the "Play/Pause/Answer/Refuse Calls" button once to answer an incoming call.
  • Press the "Play/Pause/Answer/Refuse Calls" button once during a call to end it.
  • Press and hold the "Play/Pause/Answer/Refuse Calls" button to refuse an incoming call.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no water enters the ports.

7.2 Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months to maintain battery health.

7.3 Water Resistance

The Raymate R12 is water-resistant. This means it can withstand splashes and light rain, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, it should not be submerged in water or exposed to strong jets of water.
