1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the OEIIWLE BT-298A Bluetooth Amplifier. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new audio amplifier. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
  • Do not open the casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Use only the power supply specified for this device.
  • Keep the device away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and strong magnetic fields.
  • Disconnect the power plug during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel Controls

  • Power Switch: Turns the amplifier on or off.
  • SD Card/USB Input: For playing audio files from SD cards or USB drives.
  • Display: Shows current mode, track information, and FM frequency.
  • Mode Switch: Selects input source (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, SD, FM).
  • Playback Controls: Previous, Pause/Play, Next for media playback.
  • Treble/Bass Knobs: Adjust high and low audio frequencies.
  • Microphone Volume Knob: Adjusts the volume of connected microphones.
  • Microphone Jacks (MIC1, MIC2): 6.35mm inputs for microphones.
  • Main Volume Knob: Controls the overall output volume.

4.2 Rear Panel Connections

  • Audio Input (AUX): RCA stereo input for external audio devices.
  • Speaker Terminals: Connect passive speakers (4-16Ω impedance).
  • DC 12V/5A Power Input: For 12V DC power supply (e.g., car use).
  • AC 110-240V Power Input: For standard AC power supply.
  • FM Antenna: Connection point for the FM radio antenna.

4.3 Remote Control

The remote control allows for convenient operation of the amplifier from a distance. Functions include power on/off, mode selection, channel adjustment, equalizer settings, playback control, volume adjustment, and number selection for tracks/channels.

5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Connecting Speakers

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered off.
  2. Connect your passive speakers to the speaker terminals on the rear panel. Match the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals correctly for each speaker. The amplifier supports 4-16Ω speakers.

5.2 Connecting Power

  1. For AC power, connect the provided US plug to the AC 110-240V input on the rear panel, then plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. For DC power (e.g., car use), connect a 12V/5A DC power supply (not included) to the DC 12V/5A input.

5.3 Connecting Audio Sources

  • AUX Input: Connect your audio device (e.g., TV, CD player) to the RCA Audio Input jacks on the rear panel using an RCA cable.
  • USB/SD Input: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective slots on the front panel.
  • Bluetooth: No physical connection needed. Refer to Section 6.2 for pairing instructions.
  • Microphones: Plug 6.35mm microphones into the MIC1 or MIC2 jacks on the front panel.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power Switch on the front panel to turn the amplifier on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when powered on.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the amplifier.
  2. Press the 'Mode' button on the front panel or remote control until 'Bluetooth' or 'BT' is displayed.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'BT-298A' from the list to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the amplifier.

6.3 USB/SD Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or SD card containing MP3 audio files into the corresponding slot on the front panel.
  2. The amplifier will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback. If not, press the 'Mode' button to select.
  3. Use the playback controls (Previous, Play/Pause, Next) on the front panel or remote to manage your music.

6.4 FM Radio

  1. Ensure the FM antenna is connected to the rear panel.
  2. Press the 'Mode' button until 'FM' is displayed.
  3. Use the 'CH-' or 'CH+' buttons on the remote or front panel to scan for radio stations. The 'AUTO' button can perform an automatic scan and save stations.

6.5 Karaoke Function

  1. Connect one or two microphones to the MIC1 and MIC2 jacks on the front panel.
  2. Adjust the 'MIC VOL' knob to control the microphone volume.
  3. Adjust the 'Main Volume' knob for overall sound output.

6.6 Tone Control

Use the 'TREBLE' and 'BASS' knobs on the front panel to adjust the high and low frequencies of the audio output to your preference.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
