Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly assemble and install your NearHub Single Monitor Arm MA30.

1. Check VESA Compatibility

Ensure your monitor has VESA mounting holes (75x75mm or 100x100mm). Measure the distance between the screw holes on the back of your monitor. If your monitor does not have VESA holes, a VESA adapter (sold separately) is required.

2. Choose Mounting Method

The MA30 supports two installation methods: C-Clamp and Grommet Mount. Select the method suitable for your desk.

  • C-Clamp Type: Attaches to the edge of your desk. Compatible with desk thicknesses from 1cm to 8.5cm.
  • Grommet Type: Requires a hole in your desk. Compatible with desk thicknesses from 1cm to 8.5cm and hole diameters from 1cm to 5cm.

3. Assembly Steps

  1. Attach the Base: Secure the chosen mounting base (C-Clamp or Grommet) to your desk according to the instructions provided in the packaging. Ensure it is tightened securely.
  2. Install the Arm: Slide the main arm onto the pole of the base.
  3. Attach VESA Plate to Monitor: Screw the VESA plate onto the back of your monitor using the provided screws. Ensure the screws are appropriate for your monitor's depth.
  4. Mount Monitor to Arm: Carefully slide the monitor (with VESA plate attached) onto the arm's VESA head. Secure it with the locking mechanism or screws as indicated.
  5. Adjust Gas Spring Tension: The arm features a gas spring for height adjustment. Use the included hex key to adjust the tension. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, and counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors. Adjust until the monitor stays at your desired height without drifting.
