2. Safety Information
WARNING:
- This product is not intended for use by children without adult supervision.
- Always disconnect the battery from the ESC when not in use to prevent accidental operation and potential damage.
- Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized before applying power. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the ESC, motor, or battery.
- Avoid exposing the ESC to moisture, extreme temperatures, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the ESC. This will void the warranty and may lead to malfunction or injury.
- Use only compatible batteries (2S-3S LiPo) as specified in the product specifications.
3. Features
- Supports sensorless brushless DC motors.
- Equipped with FOC (Field-Oriented Control) technology for precise and efficient motor control.

4. Package Contents
The following items are typically included in the Furitek Lizard LITE ESC package (SKU: FUR-2563, CARDSET V1 edition):
- Lizard LITE ESC x 1pc
- Power Cable x 1pc
- Servo to JST Receiver Cable x 1pc
- Programming Card (CARDSET V1) x 1pc
5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of the Furitek Lizard LITE ESC into your RC vehicle:
- Mounting the ESC: Securely mount the Lizard LITE ESC in your vehicle chassis using double-sided tape or a suitable mounting solution. Ensure it is protected from excessive vibrations and potential impacts.
- Motor Connection: Connect the three motor wires from your sensorless brushless motor to the corresponding output wires on the ESC. The order of connection may affect motor rotation direction; this can be adjusted later if needed.
- Receiver Connection: Connect the ESC's signal cable (typically a 3-wire servo connector) to the throttle channel (usually Channel 2) on your RC receiver.
- Battery Connection: Connect your 2S or 3S LiPo battery to the power input wires of the ESC. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
- Radio Calibration (if required by your radio system):
- Turn on your transmitter and ensure the throttle trim is centered and throttle endpoints are set to 100%.
- With the transmitter on, connect the battery to the ESC.
- Follow your radio system's specific instructions for ESC calibration. Generally, this involves holding full throttle, then full brake, then neutral, allowing the ESC to learn the signal range.
- Programming with CARDSET V1:
The included CARDSET V1 allows for easy adjustment of ESC parameters. Refer to the image below for the layout and functions of the programming card.

Image 2: The Furitek CARDSET V1 programming card, used to adjust various settings of the Lizard LITE ESC.
To use the programming card:
- Disconnect the ESC from the receiver.
- Connect the programming card to the ESC's signal port.
- Connect a battery to the ESC. The LEDs on the programming card will illuminate.
- Use the "MODE", "VALUE", "SET", "UP", and "DOWN" buttons to navigate and adjust settings such as motor direction, drag brake, voltage cutoff, and BEC output.
- Once settings are adjusted, disconnect the battery and programming card. Reconnect the ESC to the receiver.
6. Operating Instructions
Once the ESC is installed and calibrated:
- Ensure your transmitter is powered on first.
- Connect the LiPo battery to the ESC. The ESC will emit a series of tones indicating successful power-up and cell count detection.
- Place your RC vehicle on a stand or ensure the wheels are clear of obstructions.
- Slowly apply throttle to test motor response and direction. If the motor rotates in the wrong direction, reverse two of the three motor wires or adjust the setting via the programming card.
- Begin operating your RC vehicle. Monitor battery voltage and ESC temperature during initial runs.
- After use, disconnect the battery from the ESC immediately.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the ESC to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Avoid using liquids.
- Inspections: Periodically inspect all wires and connectors for signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
- Storage: Store the ESC in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials. Disconnect all batteries before storage.
- Firmware: Check the Furitek website for any available firmware updates for your ESC model. Follow their instructions carefully for any update procedures.
