Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your BIUSIKAN 5-in-1 Baby Bassinet and Playard. This versatile product is designed to adapt to your child's needs from newborn to toddler, functioning as a crib, bedside sleeper, rocking bassinet, playard, and changing table.

Safety Information

Always read and follow all instructions before using this product. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Suffocation Hazard: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet/crib, or on soft bedding. Use only the mattress provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Strangulation Hazard: Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep cords and strings away from the child. Do not place the product near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• Fall Hazard: To prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 22 lbs (10 kg), whichever comes first.
• Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing a child in the product.
• Never leave a child unattended in the product.
• Regularly check the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.

Setup and Installation

The BIUSIKAN Baby Bassinet features a one-click installation for quick setup.

Main Frame Assembly

1. Remove the bassinet from its storage bag.
2. Unfold the bed by pulling the side rails upwards until they lock into place. Ensure all four rails are fully locked.
3. Push down on the central locking mechanism at the bottom of the bassinet until it is fully extended and flat.
4. For the bassinet (upper) level, zip the second layer into place around the top perimeter of the main frame.
5. Insert the six second-layer tubes into the designated sleeves on the underside of the second layer to provide support.
6. Place the mattress onto the second layer.

Diaper Changing Table Assembly

1. Unfold the diaper changing table.
2. Insert the support bars into the designated sleeves on the underside of the changing table.
3. Attach the changing table to the top rails of the bassinet using the clips provided. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Music & Toys Rack (Mobile) Assembly

1. Assemble the music box arm and attach it to the bassinet rail.
2. Hang the plush toys onto the mobile arms.
3. Wind the music box to activate the lullaby and rotation.

Storage Tray Assembly

• Attach the storage tray to the side rail of the bassinet. Ensure the hooks are securely engaged.
• The tray provides compartments for diapers, wipes, and bottles.

Mosquito Net Installation

• Drape the mosquito net over the bassinet, ensuring it covers all open areas to protect the child from insects.
• Secure the net as needed to prevent gaps.

Operating Modes

1. Bassinet Mode (Upper Level)

For newborns and infants who cannot push up on hands and knees. The upper level provides a comfortable and elevated sleeping surface, making it easier for parents to access the baby.

• Ensure the second layer is securely zipped and supported by all six tubes.
• Place the mattress firmly on the second layer.

2. Playard Mode (Lower Level)

For older infants and toddlers. The lower level provides a secure and spacious area for play. The all-mesh design ensures airflow and visibility.

• Unzip and remove the second layer.
• Place the mattress on the bottom of the playard.
• The side zip entrance allows toddlers to climb in and out independently under supervision.

3. Bedside Sleeper Mode

Allows the bassinet to be placed next to an adult bed, with one side lowered for easy access to the baby. This mode is for infants only.

• Ensure the bassinet is in the upper level configuration.
• Unzip the side panel and press the clips on each side of the track to lower the side rail.
• Use the securing straps to attach the bassinet firmly to the adult bed frame, preventing any gaps.
• Always ensure the bassinet is securely attached and there are no gaps between the bassinet and the adult mattress.

4. Rocking Bassinet Mode

Provides a gentle rocking motion to soothe your baby to sleep.

• Attach the two rocking tubes to the bottom legs of the bassinet.
• Ensure they are securely clicked into place.
• To stop rocking, remove the rocking tubes or engage the wheel locks if applicable.

5. Diaper Changing Table

A convenient, elevated surface for changing diapers. Made from waterproof fabric for easy cleaning.

• Ensure the changing table is securely attached to the bassinet rails.
• Always keep one hand on the baby while using the changing table.
• Utilize the side storage shelves for easy access to diapers and wipes.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Fabric Parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not use bleach.
• Frame: Wipe the metal and plastic parts with a soft, damp cloth.
• Mattress: The mattress pad can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting into the bassinet.
• Regularly check all parts for wear and tear. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
• Store the bassinet in its storage bag in a dry place when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• Bassinet not locking: Ensure all side rails are pulled up until they click into place. The center mechanism must be fully pushed down and flat.
• Difficulty folding: Ensure the mattress is removed and the center mechanism is pulled up before attempting to collapse the side rails.
• Mobile not working: Check if the music box is properly wound. Ensure all components are correctly assembled.
