Safety Instructions

  • Ensure the power supply matches the actuator's voltage (12V or 24V).
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 1200N.
  • Avoid operating the actuator in environments with excessive dust, moisture, or corrosive substances.
  • Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or installation.
  • The actuator features over current, overload, over-voltage, over-discharge, short circuit, and shock protection. However, always operate within specified limits.

Product Features

  • Quiet Operation: Designed for silent and stable performance.
  • Integrated Safety: Includes multiple protection mechanisms: over current, overload, over-voltage, over-discharge, short circuit, and shock protection.
  • Automatic Stop: Automatically stops when it reaches the top or end of its stroke, featuring an automatic machine lock.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for intelligent range hoods, fan blades, cabinets, window openers, robotics, and home automation.

Setup and Installation

  1. Mounting: Securely mount the linear actuator using appropriate brackets and fasteners. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the actuator's weight and operational forces.
  2. Wiring: Connect the actuator to a compatible 12V or 24V DC power supply. Observe correct polarity. Refer to the wiring diagram for specific connections.

  3. Testing: Before full operation, perform a test run to ensure the actuator extends and retracts smoothly without obstruction.

Operating Instructions

The FORYON Linear Actuator is designed for simple operation. Once properly installed and powered, it can be controlled via a switch or control system (not included) to extend or retract the rod.

  • Extension: Apply positive voltage to one terminal and negative to the other to extend the rod.
  • Retraction: Reverse the polarity to retract the rod.
  • Stopping: The actuator will automatically stop at the end of its stroke. It can also be stopped at any intermediate position by cutting power.

Maintenance

The FORYON Linear Actuator requires minimal maintenance due to its robust design.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the actuator with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Lubrication: The internal components are pre-lubricated and generally do not require additional lubrication. If the actuator is exposed to harsh conditions, consult a professional.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the mounting points and wiring for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Actuator does not move.No power, incorrect wiring, motor fault.Check power supply and connections. Verify wiring polarity. If problem persists, contact support.
Actuator moves slowly or with difficulty.Overload, insufficient power, obstruction.Reduce load. Ensure power supply meets specifications. Check for obstructions in the path of movement.
Actuator makes unusual noise.Internal wear, foreign object.Discontinue use and contact support.
