This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MALIIGAZA HC-DR03W LED WiFi SPI RGB Controller. 3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Wiring Instructions

Ensure all power is disconnected before wiring. The controller supports DC 5V-24V input. The power supply voltage must match the voltage of your LED strip. The controller provides two channels of SPI signal output.

• Power Input: Connect your DC 5V-24V power supply to the V+ and V- terminals on the INPUT side.
• LED Strip Connection: Connect your addressable LED strip to the V+, DAT, and GND terminals on the OUTPUT side. Ensure correct polarity and data line connection.

3.2 App Installation & Device Pairing

The controller is managed via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.

1. Download App: Scan the QR code on the controller or search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in your mobile app store (https://smartapp.tuya.com/smartlife).
2. Enter Pairing Mode: Long press the "SET" button on the controller until the pilot lamp flickers quickly. This indicates the controller is in pairing mode.
3. Add Device in App: Open the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app, search for nearby devices, and add the controller.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Log in with your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi account and password. The linking process will begin.
5. Complete Linking: Once linking is successful, click "Done" to proceed to the control interface.

4. Operation

4.1 App Control

The Tuya Smart/Smart Life app provides comprehensive control over your LED strip lights.

• Light Strip Length/IC Model Selection: Navigate to the settings within the app to select the corresponding IC model and set the actual length of your LED strip. This ensures accurate control and effects.
• Color Calibration: If the app's color display is inconsistent with the LED strip's actual color, use the color correction feature in the app. You can select from 6 color sequences (RGB, RBG, BRG, BGR, GRB, GBR) to calibrate.
• Color Adjustment Function:
  • Paint Bucket: Change the color and saturation of the entire light segment.
  • Colored Pens: Select "Colored Pens" to fill any part of the strip with your favorite color.
  • Eraser: Erase the color of a single segment of the light (effectively turning off that segment).

• Dynamic Modes: Explore 44 kinds of default dynamic modes or create your own with 10+ custom dynamic scenarios. Adjust brightness and speed to suit your preference.

• Music Features: The controller supports music rhythm modes, allowing the lights to follow the rhythm of music collected by your phone's microphone or the onboard microphone.

• Timing Functions: Set schedules for your lights to turn on/off automatically. This includes cycle timers (e.g., 07:00 ON Everyday) and one-time timers (e.g., 22:30 OFF Once).
• Group Control & Device Sharing: Organize multiple controllers into groups for synchronized control. You can also share device control with other users.

4.2 Voice Control

The MALIIGAZA HC-DR03W controller supports voice control through popular smart assistants. Link your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account to your smart assistant (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant) to enable voice commands for turning lights on/off, changing colors, and adjusting brightness.

4.3 RF Remote Control (Optional)

The controller can also be operated using a compatible 2.4G RF wireless remote control (purchased separately). The controller can transfer the signal from one remote to another controller within 30m, allowing for potentially limitless control distance if controllers are within range of each other.

6. Troubleshooting

• Controller not pairing:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported.
  • Confirm the controller is in pairing mode (pilot lamp flickering quickly).
  • Check Wi-Fi signal strength near the controller.
  • Restart your router and the controller, then try pairing again.
• Colors are incorrect or inconsistent:
  • Verify that the correct IC model and light strip length are set in the Tuya app under "Light Strip Length" and "Color Correction".
  • Use the "Color Correction" feature in the app to calibrate the R/G/B sequence.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the LED strip voltage.
• Voice control not working:
  • Ensure your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account is correctly linked to your smart assistant (Alexa, Google Home).
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Verify the device name in the app matches the name used for voice commands.
• LED strip not lighting up:
  • Check all wiring connections (V+, DAT, GND) for secure and correct polarity.
  • Ensure the power supply is functioning and provides the correct voltage for your LED strip.
  • Confirm the LED strip itself is not damaged.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MALIIGAZA HC-DR03W controller:

• Keep the controller in a dry environment, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
• Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Clean the exterior of the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
