2. Setup

2.1. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

  • Power Adapter

2.2. Initial Power-On

  1. Connect the power adapter to the frame and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. The frame will automatically power on. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and time zone.

2.3. Wi-Fi Connection

  1. On the frame's touch screen, navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi and choose your network from the list.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.

2.4. Frameo App Setup and Pairing

The Frameo app is required for remote photo and video sharing.

  1. Download the "Frameo" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the app and create an account or log in.
  3. On your digital picture frame, tap Add Friend or Connect to App to generate a unique code.

3. Operating the Frame

3.1. Touch Screen Navigation

The frame features a 10.1-inch IPS HD touch screen (1280x800 resolution) for intuitive operation. Swipe left/right to navigate photos, tap to access options, and pinch to zoom.

3.2. Sharing Photos and Videos via Frameo App

Once connected, you can send photos and videos from your smartphone to the frame using the Frameo app.

  1. Open the Frameo app on your smartphone.
  2. Select the photos or videos you wish to send.
  3. Choose the recipient frame(s) and add an optional caption.
  4. Tap Send. The content will appear on the frame within seconds.

The Frameo app allows uploading videos up to 15 seconds in length. Videos uploaded via Micro SD card have no time limit.

3.3. Managing Storage and Media

The frame has 32GB of internal memory. It also supports Micro SD cards up to 32GB for expanded storage, direct playback, and importing/exporting media. Ensure Micro SD cards are formatted to FAT32.

3.4. Slideshow and Display Settings

Customize your viewing experience:

  • Slideshow Display: Adjust photo display duration and transition effects.
  • Play Order: Set photos to display in chronological, reverse chronological, or shuffled order.
  • Brightness: Adjust screen brightness for optimal viewing in different lighting conditions.
  • Title Display: Enable or disable captions for photos.
  • Sleep Mode: Schedule the frame to automatically turn off and on at specified times to conserve energy.

3.5. Auto-Rotate and Wall Mounting

The frame automatically adjusts photo orientation (horizontal or vertical) based on its physical placement. It includes a detachable stand for desk placement and a screw hole for wall mounting.

Invite friends and family to send photos and videos to your frame. The "React" feature allows you to send emojis to the sender in real-time, providing instant feedback on shared content.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Frame Not Connecting to Wi-Fi

  • Ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
  • Check that the frame is within range of your Wi-Fi router.

  • Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as some frames may not support 5GHz networks.

6.2. Photos/Videos Not Uploading via Frameo App

  • Confirm the frame is connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure the Frameo app on your phone is connected to the correct frame.
  • Check your internet connection on your smartphone.
  • For videos, remember the Frameo app limits uploads to 15 seconds per video.

6.3. Micro SD Card Not Recognized

  • Ensure the Micro SD card is inserted correctly.
  • Verify that the Micro SD card is formatted to FAT32. Reformat if necessary (this will erase all data on the card).
  • Try a different Micro SD card to rule out card malfunction.

6.4. Screen Not Responding to Touch

  • Restart the frame by unplugging it and plugging it back in (after ensuring it's powered off via software if possible).
  • Ensure the screen is clean and free of debris.
