Setup Guide

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the bug zapper and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
2. Placement: Choose a suitable location for the bug zapper. For optimal performance, place it in an area where insect activity is high, away from direct human activity. The integrated hanging hook allows for elevated placement. Ensure it is placed on a stable surface or securely hung.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The device will immediately activate its light functions.

Operating Instructions

The New Fi Bug Zapper is designed for simple operation. Once plugged in, the device will begin attracting insects using its dual-color light system.

• Automatic Activation: The bug zapper activates automatically upon being plugged into a power source.
• Light Mode Control: The device features a button (typically located on the top or side) to switch between light patterns. This allows you to select between the blue-violet light (for mosquitoes) and ultraviolet light (for flies and moths), or a combination, depending on your needs.
• Continuous Operation: For best results, allow the bug zapper to operate continuously, especially during peak insect hours (dusk till dawn).

Note: This model does not feature a traditional on/off switch. To power off the device, simply unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your bug zapper.

1. Power Off: Always unplug the device from the power outlet before performing any maintenance.
2. Emptying the Collection Tray: The bottom cover can be twisted off to access the collection tray where zapped insects accumulate. Empty the tray regularly.
3. Cleaning the Grid: Use the provided cleaning brush (or a similar non-metallic brush) to gently brush off any insect debris from the high-voltage grid. Do not use water or wet cloths on the grid.
4. Bulb Replacement: If a bulb needs replacement, twist off the bottom cover. The bulbs are designed to be replaceable. Refer to Figure 6 for visual guidance. Ensure replacement bulbs match the specifications (18W).
5. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
