3. Setup and Installation

The SIXTOP Android Car Stereo comes with all necessary mounting hardware for installation. Professional installation is recommended, but if you choose to install it yourself, please follow these general guidelines.

3.2 Rear Camera Wiring

For the AHD backup camera functionality, proper wiring is essential. Connect the camera as shown in the diagram below:

3.3 Initial Power-On and Basic Settings

  1. After physical installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The stereo should power on automatically.
  2. Adjust basic settings such as language, time, and date.

4.2 Split Screen Functionality

The split-screen mode allows two applications to be displayed simultaneously. To activate, click the rectangle icon at the top of the screen, select a browsing page, and drag it to either the left or right side of the screen.

4.3 Audio Features (DSP 32EQ, FM/RDS, Network Radio)

  • DSP 32EQ: Utilize the built-in Digital Sound Processor with 32-band equalization to customize your audio experience. Choose from various sound effects like 3D optimized, Panorama, and HiFi scene to enhance sound quality.
  • FM/RDS Radio: Tune into local FM stations and receive real-time information via RDS. The unit supports storing multiple preset stations.
  • Network Radio: Access mainstream radio stations from over 20 countries and regions globally when connected to Wi-Fi.

4.4 Connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, Carplay, Android Auto, Mirror Link)

  • Bluetooth 5.0: Connect your smartphone for hands-free calling, music streaming, and access to your phonebook.
  • WiFi: Connect to a WiFi hotspot to access online features, download apps, stream media, and use online navigation.
  • Carplay & Android Auto: Synchronize your phone's apps (navigation, music, messages) to the stereo. Ensure your phone's WiFi is on, then connect via Bluetooth and open the [CPLINK] or [Android Auto] app. A USB cable can also be used for connection.
  • Mirror Link: Project your smartphone screen onto the stereo display. Open the [CarbitLink] app and connect via WiFi.

4.5 GPS Navigation

The stereo supports GPS, Galileo, and Glonass satellite positioning. You can download offline navigation maps from the Play Store or use online maps when connected to WiFi.

4.7 AHD Backup Camera

The included AHD (Analog High Definition) camera provides clear reversing images, enhancing safety during parking and reversing maneuvers. Ensure the camera resolution is set to 720P 25fps in the radio factory settings for optimal performance.

4.8 Steering Wheel Control

The unit supports integration with your vehicle's original steering wheel buttons. This allows for convenient control of audio functions without taking your hands off the wheel. To set up, navigate to the car settings and follow the on-screen instructions to map functions to your steering wheel buttons. The factory code for this setting is typically 1234.

4.9 Global Weather Display

When connected to the internet, the stereo can display real-time weather information for global cities, including temperature (Celsius and Fahrenheit), humidity, and wind conditions.

5. Maintenance

  • Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touch screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display.
