3. Setup and Initial Placement

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the treadmill from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials and inspect the treadmill for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.

3.2 Placement

The FUNMILY Walking Pad Treadmill is designed for minimal installation. It arrives largely pre-assembled.

• Choose a flat, stable, and level surface for the treadmill.
• Ensure there is at least 2 feet (60 cm) of clear space on all sides of the treadmill, especially at the rear for safety.
• Position the treadmill near a grounded electrical outlet.

3.3 Initial Assembly (Desk Adjustment)

The desk workstation is adjustable. To set it up for use:

1. Gently lift the desk workstation to its upright position.
2. Adjust the desk height using the adjustment buttons located on the main column or the armrests. The desk can be set between 33 inches and 50 inches to suit your height.
3. Ensure the desk is securely locked in place at your desired height before placing any items on it.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Attach the safety key to the designated slot on the treadmill console and clip the other end to your clothing. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key in place.
3. Press the Power button on the LED touch screen or remote control to turn on the treadmill.

4.2 Basic Operation

• Start: Press the 'Start' button on the console or remote control. The treadmill will begin at a low speed.
• Speed Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the console or remote to increase or decrease the speed. The speed range is 0.6 MPH to 7.5 MPH.
• Stop: Press the 'Stop' button to gradually bring the treadmill to a halt. In an emergency, pull the safety key to immediately stop the belt.
• Display: The LED touch screen will show your exercise data, including time, distance, and current speed.

4.3 Kids Mode

To ensure child safety, the treadmill features a dedicated Kids Mode:

• In Kids Mode, preset speed buttons (P, M, 2, 3, 5, 6) are disabled.
• Only the 'Start' and 'Stop' buttons are operational.
• The maximum running speed is limited to 3 MPH.

4.4 Adjustable Incline

The treadmill offers 3 levels of manual incline adjustment to vary your workout intensity.
