1. Introduction

This portable and foldable kettle is designed for convenience, allowing you to heat water for various beverages and instant meals whether at home, in the office, or during travel and outdoor activities. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

• Always ensure the power plug is fully inserted into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Keep the lid securely on during operation to prevent splashing of hot water and steam.
• Do not immerse the kettle base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces. Use the handle when moving the kettle.
• This appliance is equipped with an overheat protection feature. If the kettle runs dry, it will automatically shut off.
• Ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from the edge of the countertop.
• Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• Keep out of reach of children.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the kettle with warm water and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
3. Assemble: To extend the kettle, align the top and bottom sections and twist to lock them into place. Ensure the lock indicator shows 'ON'.

4. Connect Power: Locate the hidden power socket on the kettle base and firmly insert the power cord.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Fill Water: Open the lid and fill the kettle with water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line (600ml).
2. Close Lid: Securely close the lid.
3. Power On: Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
4. Select Temperature: Press the 'Menu' button to cycle through the available temperature settings:
   • 212°F (Boil): For rapidly boiling water.
   • 113°F (Formula): Ideal for baby formula.
   • 131°F: Suitable for certain teas or warm drinks.
   • 149°F (Keep Warm): Maintains water at a warm temperature.
   • 167°F: For specific tea types or warm beverages.
   • 185°F: For coffee or other hot drinks.

5. Start Heating: Once the desired temperature is selected, the kettle will begin heating. The display will show the current water temperature.
6. Keep Warm Function: If 149°F is selected, the kettle will heat water to 212°F, then cool to 149°F, and maintain that temperature. For other settings, the kettle will heat to the selected temperature and then maintain it.
7. Pour: Once heating is complete, unplug the kettle and carefully pour the hot water.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your FeeKaa Travel Electric Kettle.

• Cleaning: Hand wash the interior and exterior of the kettle. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
• Descaling: Periodically descale the kettle to remove mineral deposits, especially in hard water areas. Use a commercial descaling solution or a mixture of vinegar and water. Follow the product instructions for descaling.
• Storage: When not in use, ensure the kettle is clean, dry, and disassembled for compact storage. Twist the kettle body to the 'OFF' position to collapse it.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your kettle, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Kettle not heating or water not boiling:
  • Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into the electrical outlet and the kettle's hidden socket.
  • Check for any debris or foreign objects around the power connection or inside the unit and clean them as necessary.
• Kettle automatically shuts off:
  • This is likely the overheat protection feature activating, indicating the kettle may have run dry or reached an unsafe temperature. Allow the kettle to cool before refilling and restarting.
