2. Safety Information

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Febreze Plug Scent Booster:

1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the Scent Booster device, power adapter, and cord from the packaging.
2. Prepare the Refill: Take your Febreze PLUG refill (not included) and remove the protective caps from both wicks.
3. Insert Refill: Separate the top cover from the base of the Scent Booster device. Insert the Febreze PLUG refill into the designated slots in the base. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

4. Reassemble Device: Place the top cover back onto the base, aligning it properly until it snaps into position.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. Connect the other end of the cord to the port on the Febreze Plug Scent Booster.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Febreze Plug Scent Booster offers customizable scent delivery:

1. Adjust Scent Intensity: Use the slider switch located on the side of the device to select your desired scent intensity. There are three levels: low, medium, and high. You can also slide it to the 'off' position to temporarily stop scent diffusion.

2. Activate Boost Mode: For an immediate and intensified burst of freshness, press the 'BOOST' button located on the top of the device. This will release a stronger scent for approximately 40 minutes.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Scent Booster:

• Refill Reminder: The device features a refill reminder light (a small blue light on the top surface) that will illuminate or flash when the Febreze PLUG refill is low or empty. This indicates it's time to replace the refill.

• Replacing Refills: When the refill reminder light activates, unplug the device, remove the top cover, and carefully pull out the empty refill. Insert a new Febreze PLUG refill as described in the Setup section.
• Cleaning: To clean the exterior of the device, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Febreze Plug Scent Booster, refer to the following common solutions:

• No Scent or Weak Scent:
  • Ensure the device is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check the scent intensity setting; slide it to a higher level if needed.
  • Verify that the Febreze PLUG refill is not empty. Replace if necessary (refer to the Refill Reminder light).
  • Ensure the refill caps were fully removed before insertion.
• Device Not Turning On:
  • Confirm the power adapter is securely connected to both the device and the wall outlet.
  • Try plugging the device into a different outlet to rule out an issue with the power source.
• Scent Causes Irritation:
  • If the scent causes irritation, immediately discontinue use.
  • Consider using a different Febreze PLUG scent or adjusting the intensity to a lower setting.
