3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Instrument

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the instrument.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off, depending on the model.

3.2 Attaching the Mouthpiece

Gently slide the washable silicone mouthpiece onto the instrument's air intake. Ensure it is securely fitted to prevent air leakage during play.

3.3 Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. The instrument is now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen activates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off.

4.2 Voice Selection

Use the 'V' (Voice) button and the Up/Down arrow buttons on the control panel to cycle through the 20 available instrument voices. The selected voice number will be displayed on the screen.

4.3 Breath Control Adjustment

The instrument features adjustable breath sensitivity and breath curves for personalized playing. Refer to the screen and function buttons to navigate these settings:

  • Breath Sensitivity: Adjusts how much breath pressure is required to produce sound. There are 3 levels to choose from.
  • Breath Curve: Determines the dynamic response of the instrument to your breath. There are 4 different curves available.

4.4 Portamento Key

The dedicated Portamento Key allows for smooth transitions between notes, creating a gliding effect. Press and hold this key while playing to activate the portamento effect.

4.5 Octave Shift

Use the Octave Shift button to instantly change the playing octave of the instrument, expanding its melodic range.

4.6 Headphone Usage

To practice silently, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack. The built-in speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

4.7 MIDI Over Bluetooth Connectivity

The instrument supports MIDI over Bluetooth for wireless connection to compatible devices (smartphones, tablets, computers) and music applications.
