4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
Ensure you have the required batteries (2 AAA for the keyboard, 1 AA for the mouse) before proceeding.
- For the Keyboard: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover and insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover.
- For the Mouse: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Open the cover and insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover.
4.2. Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to connect your keyboard and mouse to your Mac device:
- Power On: Turn on the keyboard and mouse using their respective power switches, usually located on the underside.
- Activate Pairing Mode:
- Keyboard: Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (often labeled BT1, BT2, or BT3) for a few seconds until the indicator light flashes, signifying it's in pairing mode.
- Mouse: Press the pairing button on the underside of the mouse until its indicator light flashes.
- Enable Bluetooth on Mac: On your Mac, go to System Settings (or System Preferences) > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Select Device: Your Mac will scan for available Bluetooth devices. Select "OMOTON Keyboard" and "OMOTON Mouse" from the list. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Keyboard Functions
The OMOTON keyboard features a full set of keys, including a numeric keypad and dedicated macOS shortcut keys for enhanced productivity.
- macOS Shortcut Keys: The function keys (F1-F12) are pre-configured for macOS specific actions such as brightness control, Mission Control, media playback, and volume adjustment.
- Numeric Keypad: Use the dedicated numeric keypad for efficient data entry and calculations.
- Scissor-Switch Keys: The scissor-switch mechanism provides a responsive and quiet typing experience.

5.2. Mouse DPI Adjustment
The OMOTON mouse offers three adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) levels to suit your preference for cursor speed and precision.
- Press the DPI button (usually located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through the available DPI settings: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.
- Each press will change the sensitivity, allowing you to find the most comfortable tracking speed for your tasks.
- The mouse features a silent click design to minimize noise during use.

5.3. Power Saving Mode
Both the keyboard and mouse are equipped with an energy-saving feature. After a period of inactivity, they will automatically enter sleep mode to conserve battery life. To wake them up, simply press any key on the keyboard or move/click the mouse.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your keyboard and mouse:
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the surfaces.
- For the keyboard, use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keys.
6.2. Battery Replacement
When the keyboard or mouse stops responding or the indicator light signals low power, it's time to replace the batteries. Refer to Section 4.1 for battery installation instructions.
