3. Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. Follow these steps carefully.

3.1 Mounting the Switch Panel

The switch panel can be mounted using either an angle-adjustable mount or a slim-line flush mount, depending on your vehicle's interior and preference.

3.2 Wiring the Control Box

The control box should be securely mounted in the engine bay. Connect the power and ground wires to your vehicle's battery, and then connect the output wires to your auxiliary devices. Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 RGB Backlight and Auto-Dimming

The RA60 switch panel features customizable RGB backlighting and an auto-dimming function. The backlight brightness adjusts automatically based on ambient light conditions, brightening in daylight and dimming at night to reduce eye strain.

  • Changing Backlight Color: Press the "MODE" button and any switch button simultaneously. Long press Switch 1 or Switch 4 to cycle through RGB colors. Press the "MODE" button again to save your selection.
  • One-Touch Backlight OFF: Press the "MODE" button once to quickly deactivate the backlight.

4.2 Lighting Modes (Toggle, Momentary, Pulsed)

Each of the six switches can be configured with one of three lighting modes:

  • TOGGLE: Device remains ON after a single press. Press once to activate, press again to deactivate.
  • MOMENTARY: Device is active only while the button is pressed and held. Release the button to deactivate.
  • PULSED (Strobe): Device activates in a strobe pattern. Press three times to activate.

4.3 Memory Function

The "ON/OFF" button on the RA60 switch panel also serves as a memory function. When pressed, the switch panel will automatically restore the light settings from before it was last turned off, providing convenience and personalization.

7. Wiring Method

  1. Connect the ACC wire to the cigarette lighter or radio fuse to get power.
  2. Connect the main power and ground wires from the control box to the vehicle battery.
  3. Connect your auxiliary devices to the corresponding output connections on the control box (Circuits 1-6).
  4. Note: When an LED is red, the corresponding fuse is bad and needs replacement.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Powering On:

    • Verify the circuit breaker is not tripped.

    • Inspect the fuse for that circuit; a red LED indicates a blown fuse. Replace with a fuse of the correct amperage.
    • Ensure the device itself is properly wired and functional.
  • Backlight Not Changing Color/Turning Off:
    • Follow the instructions in Section 4.1 for changing colors and turning off the backlight.
    • Ensure the "MODE" button is functioning correctly.
