The Fresh Air Cooler FA-T40M is a mechanical evaporative cooler designed to provide cooling through water evaporation. It features a 40-liter water reservoir and mechanical controls for ease of use.

5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
  2. Positioning: Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
  3. Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank cover (usually located at the back or bottom) and fill the tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line. For enhanced cooling, you may add ice packs or ice cubes to the water tank.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The FA-T40M features mechanical controls, typically consisting of rotary knobs for fan speed and function selection.

  • Power On/Off: Rotate the main control knob to the "ON" position to start the unit. Rotate to "OFF" to power down.
  • Fan Speed: Select your desired fan speed (e.g., Low, Medium, High) using the fan speed control knob.
  • Cooling Function: To activate evaporative cooling, ensure the water tank is filled and rotate the function knob to the "Cool" or "Evaporative" setting. This will activate the water pump to moisten the cooling pads.
  • Swing Function: If available, activate the swing function to oscillate the air vents, distributing cool air over a wider area.

Note: For optimal cooling, ensure there is some ventilation in the room to allow humid air to escape.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air cooler.

  • Water Tank Cleaning:
    • Empty and clean the water tank weekly to prevent mold and mildew growth.
    • Use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Cooling Pad Cleaning:
    • Periodically remove and rinse the cooling pads under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits.
    • Allow pads to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Before long-term storage, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the cooling pads are dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
