1. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Adult Assembly Required: This product requires adult assembly.
• Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 165.3 lb (75 kg) for the entire table. Distribute weight evenly.
• Stable Surface: Always place the coffee table on a flat, stable, and level surface to prevent tipping.
• Avoid Climbing: Do not allow children to climb or stand on the table.
• Sharp Objects: Avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the table that could cause damage or injury if they fall.
• Chemicals: Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning, as they may damage the engineered wood finish.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup and Assembly

Estimated Assembly Time: 60-90 minutes

Tools Required: Phillips head screwdriver, Hammer (optional, for dowels), Allen wrench (usually included with hardware).

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a blanket or cardboard) to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided hardware list.
2. Assemble the Base: Attach the side panels to the base panel using the provided screws and dowels. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Attach Drawer Slides to Side Panels: Secure the drawer slides to the inner sides of the table structure using the smaller screws. Pay attention to the orientation of the slides (left/right, front/back).
4. Assemble Drawers: Construct each drawer by attaching the side, front, and back panels to the drawer bottom. Secure with screws and dowels. Install the drawer knobs onto the front panels.
5. Install Drawer Slides to Drawers: Attach the corresponding drawer slides to the sides of the assembled drawers.
6. Insert Drawers: Carefully slide the assembled drawers into the table structure, aligning the drawer slides.
7. Attach Tabletop: Place the tabletop panel onto the assembled base and secure it using the remaining screws or cam locks. Ensure it is centered and flush.
8. Final Check: Gently lift and move the table to its desired location. Check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure.

4. Operating Instructions

The vidaXL Coffee Table is designed for general household use in living areas. It provides a surface for placing items and integrated storage.

• Surface Use: Use the tabletop for placing beverages, books, remote controls, or decorative items. Consider using coasters to protect the surface from moisture and heat.
• Drawer Use: The two integrated drawers can be used to store small items, keeping your living space tidy. Pull the knobs gently to open and push to close. Avoid forcing the drawers.
• Movement: When moving the table, always lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the legs or floor. If moving a significant distance, empty the drawers first.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your coffee table.

• Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and immediately dry with a clean cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the engineered wood.
• Sunlight Exposure: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration of the finish.
• Heat and Moisture: Do not place hot items directly on the surface. Use heat-resistant mats or coasters. Protect from excessive moisture.
• Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and fittings to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

• Table is Wobbly:
  Solution: Check that all assembly screws are securely tightened. Ensure the table is on a flat, level surface. If necessary, use furniture pads under the base to stabilize.
• Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly:
  Solution: Ensure the drawer slides are correctly installed and aligned. Check for any obstructions within the drawer tracks. Lubricate slides with a silicone-based spray if needed.
• Missing Parts:
  Solution: Review the package contents list. If parts are genuinely missing, contact vidaXL customer support with your purchase details.
