Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your ice maker, follow these basic precautions:

Control Panel Functions:

• ADD WATER Indicator: Illuminates when the water reservoir needs refilling.
• ICEFULL Indicator: Illuminates when the ice basket is full, and the unit will pause ice production.
• ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
• SELECT Button: Toggles between small (S) and large (L) ice cube sizes.
• S Indicator: Illuminates when small ice cube size is selected.
• L Indicator: Illuminates when large ice cube size is selected.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including tape and foam.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (like stoves or ovens). Ensure there is at least 5 inches of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation, especially around the exhaust vent.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water reservoir, ice basket, and ice scoop, with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4. Settling Period: After transport, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the appliance.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to begin making ice:

Simple 3-step process: 1. Remove ice basket and add potable water. 2. Press "ON/OFF". 3. Enjoy bullet ice in 6-8 minutes.

1. Add Water: Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
2. Power On: Close the lid and press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ice maker. The POWER indicator will illuminate.
3. Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size. The 'S' indicator is for small ice cubes, and the 'L' indicator is for large ice cubes.
   

   The ice maker produces two sizes of bullet-shaped ice cubes: Small (S) and Large (L).

4. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 6-13 minutes, depending on the selected size and ambient temperature.
5. Ice Collection: When the ice basket is full, the ICEFULL indicator will illuminate, and the unit will automatically stop production. Remove ice from the basket using the provided scoop. If not used immediately, transfer ice to a freezer for storage.
6. Continuous Operation: The unit will resume ice production once ice is removed from the basket and the ICEFULL indicator turns off. If the water level is low, the ADD WATER indicator will illuminate. Refill the reservoir to continue.

Important Notes:

• The ice maker does not have a refrigeration function for storing ice. Ice will melt if left in the basket for extended periods.
• For best results, use cold water.
• The unit operates quietly, typically below 43 dB.
  

  The ice maker operates at a low noise level of approximately 38 dB, comparable to a whisper.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your ice maker and ensure hygienic ice production.

Daily Cleaning:

• After each use, drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
• Wipe the interior with a soft cloth.

Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning:

• Unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
• Clean the water reservoir and the ice-making components (evaporator fingers) with a solution of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a mild, food-safe cleaning solution.
• Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub any mineral deposits.
• Drain the cleaning solution completely and rinse the interior several times with clean water to remove any residue.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Storage:

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water, clean the unit thoroughly, and allow it to air dry completely before storing. Store in a cool, dry place.
