1. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the AM ARROWMAX Mini Drill Pen. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, when operating the drill.
- Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
- Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to a power source, picking up or carrying the tool.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Use the correct drill bit for the material. Forcing a bit can cause it to break or damage the material.
- Secure the workpiece. Use clamps or a vise to hold the workpiece stable. Holding it by hand is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
- Maintain tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the tool's operation.
- Only use with the specified USB-C charging cable and a compatible power source (5V).

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
After each use, ensure the drill pen and bits are clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the drill pen. Remove any dust or debris from the chuck and drill bits. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2 Storage
Store the drill pen and its accessories in the provided magnetic CNC Alloy Storage Box. Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the drill pen is turned off before storing.
6.3 Drill Bit Care
The included titanium-coated steel drill bits are durable but can become dull or break with improper use. Replace dull or damaged bits to maintain drilling efficiency and prevent damage to the workpiece or drill pen. Ensure bits are stored securely in the case to prevent loss or damage.
