Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new ZZB Kids Tablet, Model Q1K. Designed specifically for children, this 7-inch Android tablet offers a secure and engaging platform for learning and entertainment. It features a durable, kid-proof case, parental controls, and an eye-protection IPS display.

Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the tablet using the provided USB cable and a compatible power adapter. The charging port is located on the side of the tablet. A full charge typically takes several hours.

2. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the side) for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button, then select "Power off" from the options that appear on the screen.
• To Restart: Press and hold the power button, then select "Restart" from the options.

3. Initial Setup Steps

1. Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language.
2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network by selecting your network name and entering the password.
3. Set up the date and time.
4. Review and accept the terms and conditions.

4. Parental Control Setup

The tablet comes with pre-installed parental control features. It is highly recommended to configure these settings to ensure a safe and controlled environment for your child. Access the parental control application from the main screen to:

• Manage app access and usage time.
• Filter web content.
• Set educational goals and rewards.
• Monitor your child's activity.

Operating Instructions

1. Navigating the Interface

• Home Screen: Swipe left or right to access different pages of apps.
• Notifications: Swipe down from the top of the screen to view notifications and quick settings.
• Recent Apps: Tap the square icon (or swipe up from the bottom and hold) to see recently opened applications.
• Back Button: Tap the triangle icon to go back to the previous screen.

• Uninstalling Apps: Press and hold an app icon, then drag it to the "Uninstall" option that appears, or go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps, select the app, and tap "Uninstall".

3. Using the Cameras

The tablet is equipped with a 2.0MP front camera and a 5.0MP rear camera. Open the "Camera" app from the home screen to take photos or record videos. You can switch between front and rear cameras within the app.

4. Connecting to Bluetooth Devices

To connect Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or other devices:

1. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
4. Select your device from the list of available devices to pair.

5. Using Expandable Storage (Micro SD Card)

The tablet supports up to 1TB of external storage via a Micro SD card. Insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot on the side of the tablet. You can then use it to store additional photos, videos, apps, and documents.

6. Eye Protection Mode

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Tablet

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet.
• For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture.

2. Battery Care

Troubleshooting

Factory Reset (Last Resort)

If persistent issues occur, a factory reset may resolve them. Warning: This will erase all data on the tablet. Back up important data before proceeding. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).
