4. Battery Installation
To install batteries:
- Slide open the battery cover located on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 3).
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
5. Setup and Pairing
The FavorCOOL Universal AC Remote Control can be paired with your air conditioner using either automatic code search or manual code entry.
5.1. Automatic Code Search
- Ensure your air conditioner is powered off.
- Point the remote control towards your air conditioner.
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 5 seconds until the code on the LCD display starts flashing.
- Release the SET button. The remote will now automatically search for the correct code, sending signals to your AC unit.
- When your air conditioner responds (e.g., turns on, beeps), immediately press the OK button to confirm the code.
- Test all functions of the remote control to ensure proper operation. If some functions do not work, repeat the process to find an alternative code.
5.2. Manual Code Entry
- Locate your air conditioner brand in the provided code list (refer to Figure 4). Note down the corresponding 3-digit code(s).
- Ensure your air conditioner is powered off.
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 5 seconds until the code on the LCD display starts flashing.
- Use the TEMP+ or TEMP- buttons to input the 3-digit code for your brand.
- Once the code is entered, press the OK button to confirm.
- Test all functions of the remote control. If some functions do not work, try the next code for your brand or repeat the process with a different code.

6. Operating Instructions
