6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your treadmill.

6.1. Lubrication

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Use the provided lubricating oil and follow these steps:

  1. Turn off and unplug the treadmill.
  2. Loosen the belt tension by turning the rear rollers counter-clockwise with the L-shaped wrench.
  3. Lift the edge of the running belt and apply a small amount of lubricating oil evenly to the center of the deck, underneath the belt.
  4. Tighten the belt tension by turning the rear rollers clockwise until the belt is snug but not overly tight.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1 mph) for 5 minutes to distribute the lubricant.

6.2. Cleaning

Wipe down the treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Regularly vacuum around and under the treadmill to prevent dust and debris buildup.

6.3. Belt Adjustment

If the running belt slips or drifts to one side, it may need adjustment. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for precise belt centering and tensioning procedures.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your treadmill, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Treadmill does not start: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in, the power switch is on, and the safety key is correctly inserted.
  • Belt stops or slips: The running belt may require tension adjustment or lubrication. Refer to the maintenance section.
  • Unusual noises: Check for loose parts or foreign objects under the belt. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the treadmill is powered on. Restart both the app and the treadmill if necessary.

For more complex issues or if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the problem, please contact Lacuffy customer support.
