The KORNORGE 20" Ultra Light Foldable Electric Bike is designed for adults, offering a convenient and efficient mode of transportation. The bike includes a 48V 15.6AH removable battery, providing a range of up to 38 miles (throttle) or 56 miles (pedal-assisted) on a single charge. Setup and Assembly

Your KORNORGE electric bike comes approximately 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly and prepare your bike for its first ride. For a visual guide, please refer to the official installation video below.

1. 1. Unboxing and Parts Identification

   Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the user manual are present. The main frame, wheels, seat, handlebars, and accessories should be accounted for.

2. 2. Install Bike Light and Front Fender

   Attach the bike light to the front of the bike using the provided screws and tools. Secure the front fender in place, ensuring it is properly aligned with the wheel.

3. 3. Unfold the Bike Frame

   Locate the folding mechanism on the bike frame. Carefully unfold the frame until it locks into place. Remember to fasten the safety buckle securely to prevent accidental folding during use.

4. 4. Install Bike Handlebars

   Insert the handlebar stem into the main frame. Adjust the height to your preference and secure it firmly using the quick-release lever and tightening screw. Ensure the handlebars are straight and stable.

5. 5. Install Front Basket

   Attach the front basket to the designated mounting points on the bike's front frame. Use the three screws provided and tighten them securely with the appropriate tool.

6. 6. Install Front Wheel

   Remove the protective rod from the front fork. Insert the quick-release skewer through the hub of the front wheel. Align the wheel with the front fork and the disc brake caliper. Secure the wheel by tightening the quick-release lever.

7. 7. Install Rear Rack

   Attach the rear rack to the mounting points on the bike's rear frame. Ensure all screws are tightened to provide a stable platform for carrying items or the rear seat cushion.

8. 8. Connect Bike Tail Light Wiring

   Locate the tail light wiring port near the rear wheel. Connect the tail light wire securely to ensure proper functionality of the rear light.

9. 9. Install Bike Seat

   Insert the seat post into the seat tube. Adjust the seat height to a comfortable riding position and secure it with the quick-release clamp. The seat height can be raised or lowered as desired.

10. 10. Install Left and Right Pedals

    Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into their respective crank arms. Use a wrench to tighten them firmly. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread.

11. 11. Install Backrest and Rear Seat

    If your model includes a backrest and rear seat cushion, assemble the backrest onto its bracket and then attach the entire assembly to the rear rack. Ensure all bolts are securely fastened for passenger safety.

12. 12. Install Rear Footrest

    Attach the rear footrests to the designated points on the bike frame near the rear wheel. Secure them with the provided screws, ensuring they are stable for passenger use.

Operating Instructions

Before riding, ensure the battery is sufficiently charged and properly installed.

• 1. Turning On the Bike

  Locate the battery switch, typically on the side of the battery pack. Turn the switch to the "on" position. Then, long-press the power button on the LCD display unit on the handlebars to activate the display.

• 2. Selecting Riding Mode

  The KORNORGE electric bike offers three riding modes: manual, pedal-assisted, and pure electric. Use the mode selection buttons on the LCD display to switch between assist levels (1-3) for pedal-assist mode. If the display shows "0" mode, the throttle will not respond; you must select an assist level (1-3) to engage electric power.

• 3. Using the Throttle

  Once an assist mode is selected (1-3), gently twist the throttle on the right handlebar to engage the electric motor and accelerate. The bike will provide power based on the selected assist level and throttle input.

• 4. Braking

  The bike is equipped with dual disc brakes for effective stopping power. Apply both brake levers evenly to slow down or stop. Regular inspection of brake pads and cables is recommended.

Maintenance

• 1. Battery Care

  The 48V 15.6AH removable battery is UL2849-certified. Charge the battery fully before first use and after each ride. It takes approximately 7-8 hours for a full charge. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. To remove the battery, use the key to unlock it and slide it out. To reinstall, slide it back in and lock it with the key.

• 2. Tire Pressure

  Regularly check tire pressure to ensure it is within the recommended range specified on the tire sidewall. Proper tire pressure improves ride comfort, efficiency, and safety.

• 3. Brake System Inspection

  Periodically inspect the dual disc brakes for wear on the pads and proper tension of the brake cables. Adjust or replace components as necessary to maintain optimal braking performance.

• 4. General Cleaning

  Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components. Lubricate the chain periodically to ensure smooth operation.

• Bike Not Turning On

  Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed. Check that the battery switch is in the "on" position. Long-press the power button on the LCD display to activate it.

• Motor Not Engaging

  Verify that the display is on and an assist mode (1-3) is selected. The motor will not engage if the display is in "0" mode. Check all cable connections for looseness.

• Low Power or Short Range

  This typically indicates a low battery charge. Ensure the battery is fully charged before each ride. Extreme temperatures can also affect battery performance and range.

• Brakes Squeaking or Not Effective

  Inspect brake pads for wear and replace if necessary. Check brake cable tension and adjust as needed. Ensure disc rotors are clean and free of oil or grease.
