4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The charging indicator will show the charging status.

4.2. Connecting the Keyboard

The LEOBOG Alice A75 supports three connection modes:

  • 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
    1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, typically stored magnetically on the keyboard's side or bottom.
    2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
    3. Switch the keyboard to 2.4GHz mode using the switch located on the back or side of the keyboard. The keyboard should automatically connect.
  • Bluetooth 5.0 Mode:
    1. Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode using the switch on the back or side.
    2. On your device (computer, smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
    3. Select "LEOBOG A75" from the list of available devices to pair.
    4. The keyboard supports multiple Bluetooth profiles; refer to the keyboard's specific function keys (e.g., Fn+1, Fn+2, Fn+3) to switch between paired devices.
  • USB-C Wired Mode:
    1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
    2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
    3. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Functional Knob

The multi-function knob located on the top right of the keyboard controls volume and RGB lighting effects.

  • Volume Control: Rotate the knob clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease volume. Press the knob to mute/unmute.
  • RGB Lighting Control: The knob can also cycle through different RGB lighting effects or adjust brightness. Refer to the specific key combinations in your quick start guide for detailed control.

5.2. Joystick Design

The integrated joystick functions as directional arrow keys and an Enter key.

  • Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to activate the corresponding arrow key function.
  • Press the center of the joystick to activate the Enter key function.

5.3. RGB Backlighting

5.4. Hot-Swappable Switches

The keyboard's hot-swappable design allows you to change mechanical switches without soldering.

  • Use the included keycap puller to carefully remove the keycap.
  • Use the switch puller (often integrated with the keycap puller) to gently remove the switch.
  • Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

  • Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources before cleaning.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard Not Responding:
    • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
    • Check the connection mode switch (2.4GHz, Bluetooth, Wired) and ensure it matches your connection method.
    • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired correctly and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Try re-pairing if necessary.
    • In wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
  • Keys Not Working or Double Typing:
    • This could indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the problematic switch.

  • Win Key Not Functioning:
