4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Safety Precautions
- Ensure power is disconnected before installation or wiring.
- Follow all local electrical codes and regulations.
- Do not expose the receiver to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Only use the specified operating voltage (10-24 VAC/VDC).
4.2 Mounting the Receiver
- Select a suitable indoor location for mounting, away from large metal objects that may interfere with RF signals.
- Use the integrated mounting tabs on the receiver to secure it to a flat surface using appropriate screws.
4.3 Wiring Connections
Refer to the terminal block on the receiver for wiring connections. Ensure correct polarity for DC power.
| Terminal | Description |
|---|---|
| + | Positive power input (10-24 VAC/VDC) |
| - | Negative power input (Ground) |
| CH1 NO | Channel 1 Normally Open relay contact |
| CH1 COM | Channel 1 Common relay contact |
| CH1 NC | Channel 1 Normally Closed relay contact |
| CH2 NO | Channel 2 Normally Open relay contact |
| CH2 COM | Channel 2 Common relay contact |
| CH2 NC | Channel 2 Normally Closed relay contact |
Connect the power supply to the + and - terminals. Connect the device to be controlled to the appropriate relay contacts (NO, COM, NC) for each channel based on your application's requirements.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Programming Transmitters
The SK-910RD2-4 uses a pushbutton for programming. Each channel can store up to 15 transmitter button codes.
- Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the programming button (located near the digital display) for approximately 3 seconds until the digital display shows "P1" for Channel 1 programming or "P2" for Channel 2 programming. Release the button.
- Select Channel: If "P1" is displayed, you are programming Channel 1. Press the button again briefly to toggle to "P2" for Channel 2, if desired.
- Learn Transmitter: While the desired channel ("P1" or "P2") is displayed, press the button on the transmitter you wish to program. The receiver's digital display will flash, indicating successful learning.
- Program Additional Transmitters: Repeat step 3 for any other transmitter buttons you wish to program to the same channel.
- Exit Programming Mode: The receiver will automatically exit programming mode after 10 seconds of inactivity, or you can press and hold the programming button for 3 seconds until the display turns off.
5.2 Clearing Transmitter Codes
To clear all programmed transmitter codes from a specific channel:
- Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the programming button for approximately 3 seconds until the digital display shows "P1" or "P2".
- Select Channel: Toggle to the desired channel ("P1" or "P2") if necessary.
- Clear Codes: While the desired channel is displayed, press and hold the programming button for approximately 10 seconds until the display shows "CL" (Clear). Release the button. All codes for that channel are now cleared.
5.3 Setting Output Modes
Each channel can be set to one of five output modes. The default mode is timed pulse (1 second).
- Enter Mode Setting: Press and hold the programming button for approximately 6 seconds (after "P1" or "P2" appears) until the display shows the current mode setting (e.g., "01" for 1-second pulse).
- Select Channel: Briefly press the button to toggle between channels if needed.
- Change Mode: Briefly press the button to cycle through the available output modes:
- 01-99: Timed pulse (seconds) - 0.5 to 99 seconds.
- A1-A9: Timed pulse (minutes) - 1 to 9 minutes.
- b0: Toggle mode.
- C0: Latch mode.
- d0: Follow (validity) mode.
- Confirm Mode: Once the desired mode is displayed, stop pressing the button. The receiver will automatically save the setting and exit mode setting after 5 seconds of inactivity.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check wiring connections for looseness or corrosion.
- Environment: Ensure the receiver is kept in a dry environment within its specified operating temperature range.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
