Setup
Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the radio using the USB-C cable. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the radio's USB-C input port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The charging indicator lights will illuminate to show charging progress.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
To power on the radio, rotate the volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.
Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through available modes: AM, FM, Shortwave (SW), Weather Band (WB), Bluetooth (BT), and TF Card/Micro SD playback.
Radio Functions (AM/FM/SW/WB)
Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception. Use the TUNE knob to manually tune to desired frequencies. Press the SCAN button for automatic station scanning. The radio features 40 memory slots for saving your favorite AM/FM/SW stations.

Bluetooth Connectivity
In Bluetooth mode, the radio will be discoverable as "FosPower D9". Enable Bluetooth on your device and select the radio to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly.

TF Card/Micro SD Playback
Insert a micro SD or TF card with audio files into the designated slot. The radio will automatically switch to playback mode. Use the navigation buttons to control playback.
Headphone Jack
For private listening, connect 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack.
Charging the Device
The FosPower Emergency Weather Radio offers three convenient ways to recharge its internal battery:
- USB-C Charging: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the radio's input port and a USB power source. This is the fastest charging method.
- Hand Crank Charging: Extend the hand crank located on the side of the radio. Rotate the crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approximately 120-150 RPM) to generate power. - Solar Panel Charging: Place the radio with its solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel provides a trickle charge, ideal for maintaining battery life or for emergency charging when other power sources are unavailable.

Emergency Features
- Flashlight: Press the LIGHT button to activate the built-in LED flashlight. Press again to turn it off.
- SOS Alarm: Slide the SOS switch to activate a loud siren and flashing light, signaling for help in emergency situations. Slide the switch back to deactivate.
