1. Single Type-C Connection (Full-Featured USB-C):

If your laptop or device has a full-featured USB-C port (supporting power, video, and data), you can connect the monitor with a single USB-C to USB-C cable for both power and display.

• Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to your device's full-featured USB-C port.
• Connect the other end to either Type-C port (Type-C1 or Type-C2) on the Dopesplay monitor.
• The monitor should automatically detect the signal and power on.

Important: Not all USB-C ports are full-featured. Please confirm your device's USB-C port capabilities before attempting a single-cable connection. Look for symbols indicating Thunderbolt 3/4, Data + Video Transfer, or DisplayPort Alt Mode.

2. HDMI & USB-A Connection:

If your device does not have a full-featured USB-C port, you can use the HDMI and USB-A cables for connection. This method requires two cables: one for video and one for power.

• Connect the Mini HDMI end of the HDMI to Mini HDMI cable to the monitor's HDMI port.
• Connect the standard HDMI end to your device's HDMI output port.
• Connect the USB-A end of the USB-A to USB-C cable to a USB-A port on your device (or a power adapter).
• Connect the USB-C end to either Type-C port (Type-C1 or Type-C2) on the Dopesplay monitor for power.

Connecting to Specific Devices:

• Laptops (Mac/Windows): Use either single USB-C or HDMI + USB-A connection. You can configure duplicated or extended display modes in your operating system settings.

• Smartphones (USB-C enabled): For iPhone 15/16 series with Type-C, use a single USB-C cable. For other iPhone versions with Lightning port, an adapter (not included) is necessary.

• Gaming Consoles (PS4/5, Xbox, Switch): Connect via HDMI for video. The monitor will require external power via USB-C (using the USB-A to USB-C cable and a power adapter) as consoles typically do not provide sufficient power through HDMI.
